InterCloud is looking for a pre-sales engineer in charge of supporting our sales team and local business growth in the UK. This skilled professional will be responsible for developing solutions for customers by bringing is own expertise and leveraging on the Paris-based Technical Department, as well as the other pre-sales engineers in his team.

The pre-sales engineer will own the solution from the early qualification stage until the final customer delivery of the offer.

You’ll work on projects in different EU.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate closely with Sales – you will work alongside Account Managers, serving as a technical lead for complex solutions development
  • You will be involved with explaining complex technical details to business & technical teams. Will also present solutions to potential customers during presales activities
  • Technical Proposal / RFP Preparation – Responsible for managing the RFI/RFP process and the final response. Duties include pre-bid meetings, phone conferences, etc
  • Participating in the planning and execution of various partners facing activities. Roles may include actively driving presentations creation or delivery, and general networking activities.

Preferred experience

You are the ideal candidate if you have…

  • 5+ years of experience in similar environment or in the IT industry, including two or more years in sales engineering or consulting.
  • Strong expertise in telecommunication technologies is required, but understanding and analyzing customer’s pain when using mission critical applications in the cloud is also required.
  • Proven technology skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Positive, service-oriented personality.
  • A solid understanding of Cloud-based services and technologies.
