As a Senior backend developer in our data ingestion team, you will build and maintain new and existing services. You contribute to the architectural plans with our importation team lead, and help us design and built the next generation of data importation.

You are directly reporting to Implicity’s CTO

Our stack

• Agile, with 2 weeks sprint cycles.
• Continuous integration pipelines with (Jest/Cypress) via Gitlab-CI.
• Typescript development server side. (NestJS & hapi)
• Fully Terraformed Cloud Infrastructure. (AWS/Kubernetes)
• MongoDB, PostgreSQL and MariaDB for persistence.
• RabbitMQ as a message broker.
• Kafka as a data streaming broker
• Active Monitoring through Datadog

⭐️You are⭐️

[Your background]

• Back-end Development with at least 5 years experience
• At least one experience with Data streams (Kafka)
• At least one experience in a highly regulated field (Health, Banking, Government)

[Hard Skills]

• Strong experiences in both Typescript and Javascript
• Fluent in both English and French
• At least one experience in a microservices architecture
• At least one experience in a high scale production environment (ideally data oriented)
• Experience with a Monitoring tool like Datadog
• Familiar with production development workflow (code reviews, branching models)
• Familiar with Testing practices
• Good understanding of DB modelling and optimization
• Highly aware of secure development practices (Top 10 OWASP)
• You have excellent documentation skills

[Nice to have]

• Successful experience as Scrum master.
• Experiences with Front-end frameworks
• Experiences with Industrial framework (Django, Spring, Rails)
• Already practiced TDD
