POS-25117

Location: France | Team: Customer Education, FR & DACH

HubSpot Academy is on a mission to be the place people go to learn how to start and grow a business. We offer a variety of educational and inspirational content — from blog posts to lessons and full certification courses — that provides valuable business training to people all over the world. This educational content generates new customers for the business and delights our existing ones.

We're looking for an individual who is passionate about creating and delivering educational experiences in French to help millions of organizations grow better.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing educational content that inspires people to grow their business, advance their careers, and maximize their use of HubSpot software. You’ll play a key role in building out HubSpot Academy’s library of educational content for French-speaking HubSpot customers and learners. You’ll develop educational content in a variety of ways, including video training, certification courses, lessons, live and on-demand training, and through engagement on our HubSpot Community. Some of this content will be localized existing content. You’ll also develop net-new education based on region-specific strategies and tactics.

This role sits on the HubSpot Academy team and reports to the Manager of HubSpot Academy Education (FR & DACH). You’ll work alongside other Professors for Japanese, Spanish, French, and German content which makes up our international team of content creators. You will also work with other content creators, Localization Specialists, HubSpot Product Marketing Managers, HubSpot Product Managers and other internal and external experts in the development and promotion of educational content.

As an Inbound Professor, you’ll be focused on learning the core professor skill set necessary to record and develop high-quality, impactful education in French. This includes but is not limited to writing skills, presentation skills, relationship management, and introductory instructional design.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Work closely with your manager and other regional stakeholders to prioritize, create and record education needed for the French market
  • Work closely with creative resources to film and edit videos.
  • Identify, collaborate with, and collect customer examples to feature in education specific to your region.
  • Work closely with the HubSpot Localization Team to deliver localized HubSpot Academy education in French
  • Create net-new content for the French market as needed, following instructional design best practices
  • Update educational content to reflect latest product knowledge, features, navigation, as well as important industry trends and best practices
  • Deliver and support live Academy webinars and bootcamps for HubSpot customers and partners on a variety of topics and product capabilities on an ad hoc basis.

What we’re looking for:

  • Language(s): Native French Speaker and proficient in English.
  • Instructional Design: Proficiency in instructional design principles, adult learning methodologies, and content creation tools to develop engaging and effective learning curriculum for live education, as well as microlearning video modules.
  • Customer-First Mentality: Empathy towards learners to understand their challenges, tailor educational content to their needs, and provide support in their learning journey to enhance their HubSpot skills and achieve their business goals.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey product information clearly, concisely, and effectively to audiences with varying levels of professional experience and software expertise.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts, product teams, and customer success managers to gather product insights, validate content accuracy, and align educational materials with the needs of a variety of customers and learner levels.
  • Training and Facilitation Skills: Proven experience in conducting software product training. SaaS experience preferred; live training experience a plus.
  • Growth Mindset: Ability and desire to quickly acquire new skills, stay updated on industry trends, and adapt to evolving technologies in the SaaS space to effectively teach others and keep educational experiences timely and relevant.
  • Research and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills to analyze audience needs and use cases, anticipate learner challenges, and provide practical solutions to help learners succeed with HubSpot, while growing their business and their careers
  • Toolset: Proficiency with learning management systems, webinar delivery platforms, content creation tools including video editing tools, and analytics tools to create, deliver, and track the effectiveness of educational resources.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain the quality and consistency of technical educational content across multiple channels.
