🌟 YOUR ROLE WILL BE

  • Talking scale issues that why we need to empower our interactive web app (Export, Email Analytics, ...). Make with the team the technical choices which seem the best for our product. 🥁
  • Today, we are around 40 engineers (frontend, backend, QA, SRE) working in squad (6-7 developers and one product manager).

    • 🌟 YOUR MISSION WILL BE

  • Practice disciplined software engineering (e.g. automated testing, code reviews, and writing simple and readable code).
  • Demonstrate open collaboration, across teams, and take ownership to support and mentor our Ruby developers in Go.
  • Migrate some services in Rails to Go.
  • Write, review, maintain, and document Go/Golang code.
  • Deploy code to production, and own the product throughout the lifecycle.

    • 🌟 YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF

  • At least 2/3 + years of programming experience in Go.
  • Experience working on backend systems at a large-scale internet service. 🪜
  • Track record of designing and implementing complex and scalable software services.
  • Experience architecting, deploying and operating asynchronous work queues, high-volume storage systems, and high-throughput systems.
  • Understand the trade-offs in employing different engineering solutions to a problem, valuing pragmatism over idealism.
  • Docker has no secret for you. 🐳
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment.
  • You have a great oral and written communication in English. 🇺🇸

  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience in document oriented databases like Elasticsearch.
  • Deep knowledge in microservices architectures.
  • Comfortable with DevOps aspects.
  • Open-source contributions.
