ACCOUNT OVERVIEW

OpenMind was recently awarded the ZEUR assignment for Nestle Europe. With 47 countries, +450 team members, and regular new product launches, the account is looking for a ZEUR Analytics Business Director to provide strong analytics experience and leadership for in-scope Nestle categories. Being above market, the role offers plenty of variety, with an enjoyable balance between driving growth for brands, strategic consultancy and laying the framework for excellence, ensuring we’re delivering change at scale. Then this unique opportunity is for you. As the Analytics Business Director, partnering with various stakeholders, you will play a key role in providing a top notch Analytics service and for developing the analytics function, while acting as a thought leader in this space; working closely with the leadership team to set the team vision, goals, and objectives to be aligned with the agency vision and being responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Analytics function’s vision/objectives.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with the cluster markets to calibrate Marketing Mix Model response curves into the agency media planning software.
    • Consolidates Marketing Mix Model results by category and market.
    • Utilizes statistical techniques to apply available FMCG benchmarks to complete missing information.
    • Works collaboratively with the Above Market Analytics lead to develop a framework of operation to embed these results into the agency media planning software.
    • Drives the integration of Business Results into Campaign Design
  • Provides relevant inputs to ZEUR Media Principles and works with the cluster markets to localize sufficiency guidelines.
    • Can integrate in the narrative key media concepts, such as: reach, frequency, grps, carry over generation, multimedia measurement, brand-demand generation.
    • Collects relevant data assets from markets in cluster to localize sufficiency guidelines.
    • Explains and trains local cluster markets into the usage of these values.
    • Provide guidance as to how much it should be invested per Campaign, Brand and Markets, in order to have robust, sufficient communications
  • Manage a data-driven planning
    • Able to take all the insights generated by effectiveness measurement and integrate them into strategic thinking
    • Integrate and parameterise tools with data from Marketing Mix Modeling
  • Provides training and recommendation on a diverse array of channel budget optimization tools and methodologies to be applied in cluster.

 

 

YOUR KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

  •  A very good knowledge of the media, advertising channels and their role in advertising communications for brands, particularly FMCG brands
  •  Analytical leadership experience including preparation and presentation of reports to stakeholders, using data to drive significant business decisions.
  •  You are sought out as an Analytics expert and will endeavour to build fruitful relationships with other Business Directors, senior management, and the client across ZEUR.
  • You will need to be confident that you can turn a business question into a technical brief, work with experts and analysts to deliver solutions focused on applying advanced analytics and provide sound recommendations to the client.
  • Ability to work independently with limited input once objectives have been set.
  • SME in FMCG is a major plus!
  • Experience working with businesses which are made up of multiple business units and the complexity of how those businesses overlap from a data perspective.
  •  Strong experience of dealing with senior level stakeholders to develop strategic responses to business opportunities.
  • Ability to structure, manage, and coordinate multiple complex cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to present complex ideas in a clear and engaging way.
  • Proven strong leadership and exceptional people management skills - we’re looking for someone who can motivate, inspire, and develop the function.
  • Calm under pressure and able to always think about the bigger picture.
  • Able to speak fluent English
