Gorgias helps e-commerce companies deliver excellent customer service at scale. We integrate email, live chat, voice, Facebook, Instagram, and SMS with Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento.

Our product creates a unified customer profile by combining emails, live-chat, and social-media messages with e-commerce data such as purchase and delivery info. Combining all this data in a single application makes customer service more efficient and just better. Another fortunate side-effect is that some requests are completely automated using machine learning. 💬 + 📦 = ❤️

We've been around since 2015, and we're serving over 9000+ e-commerce businesses, including Steve Madden, Timbuk2, Decathlon, and Sports Illustrated.

Our revenue grew by 80% in 2021 after we raised $25 million Series B in December 2020. We doubled our global team and we accelerated our progress towards our mission to transform support from painful to exceptional for merchants. 🥳

About the role

We're building a world-class Marketing team here at Gorgias. We have a kickass product, and we're running unconventional growth tactics that generate millions in revenue. Our ambition is to be recognized by the Ecommerce ecosystem as the most impactful customer service platform for online stores. We want every single brand on Shopify, Magento, and BigCommerce to deliver exceptional customer experiences through our Gorgias.

We believe Social Media is one of the highest potential channels to engage with our audience and put Gorgias in top of mind for DTC brands.

As Social Media Manager, you would sit on the content team.

You will be the owner of all the initiatives related to social media. It will include:

- Own all of our social media accounts

- Lead the social strategy

- Track the impact of social

What makes this Social Media Manager position at Gorgias unique?

You will have the unique opportunity to run a truly data-driven social media strategy. No vanity metrics like the number of impressions or followers. We expect social media platforms to be one of the best channels to interact with qualified audiences: potential prospects, customers, or partners, not less!

And because of that, we believe social interactions matter as much as Ad clicks or organic visits. Data analysts and technical engineers will back you up to help you to track every social media touchpoint that matters to track the impact of social media on the Gorgias business.

What you’ll do as a Social Media Manager

  • Drive conversion with our audience
  • Moderate all of our existing social media accounts
  • Build our social presence on the platforms where we are not yet
  • Lead the social content strategy: What should we publish, when, and where?
  • Launch key initiatives such as employee advocacy, social lives, influencers programs, etc.
  • Identify new opportunities for Gorgias on social
  • Measure and report on the performance of social
  • About You

  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a Social Media/ Community manager
  • You have experience in the SaaS B2B industry
  • You're a very good communicator
  • You're data-driven and can draw a connection between strategy and numbers
  • You have created a social media strategy and executed that based on business goals
  • Experience in e-commerce is a plus

  • 💰 The San Francisco salary range (our company benchmark) for this position is $86,783 to $136,710, plus competitive equity, depending on seniority and the offer you choose.
