About the Team
Growth Ops is a cross-functional team that works hand-in-hand with all of the other Growth teams (Go-to-market Marketing & Business Development, Sales, Success & Support, Product) and also interacts with the dev teams.Our mission: maximize Gorgias's impact by empowering all other Growth teams to be more efficient and by providing insights on our levers of growth, backed by data.The team itself is composed of three main sections:

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer who will be responsible for expanding, optimizing, and scaling our data stack and data pipeline architecture, to improve our decision-making process backed by data, and ensure high data quality. We collect a lot of data at Gorgias and use a wide variety of data sources to enrich our database and CRM, now we want to focus on structuring these processes to set ourselves up for success.Responsibilities include:
Build and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelinesBuild and maintain a robust and scalable infrastructure able to support the Growth teams’ needs in terms of data analysis and transformationBuild and maintain CI/CD workflows to help the team deliver while ensuring data quality, reliability, and availability in the productionEstablish and share data management and processing best practices with the rest of the Growth Ops teamOwn the data strategy for all Growth teams at Gorgias (identity, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.)You will collaborate closely with the rest of the Growth Ops team to sync on:business needs amongst all the Gorgias teams - typically the Business Intelligence section of the teambest practices for scalable data enrichment and reprocessing - typically the Growth Engineers of the teamWho You Are
you have 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on building and/or maintaining data pipelines Ideally, you have experience working on a Modern Data Stackyou have 3+ years of experience in Python development, including testing, deployment and codebase refactoringyou have at least one experience with GCP or AWSyou enjoy optimizing data systems and potentially even building from the ground up if need be (in the case where a redesign of our data architecture is necessary)you master SQL, git/Github, and common delivery processesyou have strong business acumen and are comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products you have experience working with and supporting cross-functional teams in a dynamic environmentyou have shown strong project management and organizational skills.you have strong interpersonal and communication skillsyou speak English fluently and you want to work in an international and dynamic environmentyou want to learn, improve and gain responsibility: you would be starting the Core Ops section of the team, for which we are planning on hiring 2 other people that you would either manage or be a tech lead for.Our current growth stack includes:
