Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant (m/f/d), to join our Finance team in Amsterdam.Our Finance team provides timely, reliable, and accurate financial information to relevant stakeholders, thus assisting decision-making. Efficient processes, transparency, and compliance with local and international financial reporting regulations are critical to the finance functions in our company. Amongst many exciting challenges, you will:

• Be responsible for accounts receivables/payables;
• Taking care of provision booking;
• Handling payment preparation and processing;
• Managing inter-company recharges and reconciliation;
• Complying monthly journal entry analysis (checking correctness of used cost accounts and allocation to cost centres);
• Interacting and cooperating on tax registration (VAT, Corporation Tax, Salary Tax), with the support of our external accountant;
• Supporting activities during month-end closing (investor reporting) and year-end closing (annual report).

We are a match if you have...

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar education;
• Experience in accounting / tax reporting;
• Good knowledge of Dutch legislation (GAAP);
• Organized, accurate, and reliable;
• Able to work independently and in a team;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Knowledge of and experience with Navision/Business Central is a big plus;
• Excellent language skills in English (in both speaking and writing).
