Your role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to empower our team of talented Engineers through coaching and mentoring in order to build more sustainable, robust and testable code.
Attached to the Head of Engineering, your mission will be about creating a framework to improve our tech culture by enabling Engineers to grow technically, to foster innovation and promote a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
More importantly, we are looking for a passionate person who is ready to go the extra mile, is always looking to improve the existing, and is ambitious to become a key player in a game changing startup.

🎯 Missions

  • Manage, mentor and lead a growing team of software engineers and squad leads. Follow a team of engineers in their professional life and career, grow their competencies and develop together a strong work culture.
  • Be an active part of and coordinate recruitment of new hires.
  • Be the ambassador of internal conventions, clean code, consistent project structure and internal documentation.
  • Accompany and challenge architectural decisions and refine processes to help the product grow at the right pace in the right direction
  • Follow the team planning and delivery, define and monitor key metrics such as velocity and technical debt.
  • Continually improve the tech culture by defining frameworks for training programs, side project time and organize off-site events.

Preferred experience

  • 5+ years of experience as an Engineer
  • 2+ year in people management
  • The right mindset to work in a growing startup: ownership & accountability, ready to go the extra mile, collaboration, customer focus and support. Able to produce outstanding quality and reliability required for our solutions to work durably in the most challenging contexts.
  • Passionate in new technologies and web services.
  • Good English level and a strong ability to communicate
  • Independent and problem solving.
  • Ability to lead a team, identity strengths and weaknesses
