As part of the AI Labs team at Fieldbox, you work in close collaboration with the Build and Run teams to accelerate development of AI-driven, robust, monitored, maintainable applications for our customers.

As a ML Engineer, the initial creation of ML models will not be your responsibility, however you will be in charge of providing the right tools for the models to be easily created, pushed in production, with appropriate monitoring.

On a daily basis, your missions can be:

• Develop and maintain internal tools to accelerate development of AI / data-driven applications and embed best practices: python packages, blueprints…
• Develop and maintain internal applications to scale development, deployment and maintenance phases to hundreds of applications for tens of customers
• Offer support on a day-to-day basis regarding technical aspects of projects in development (scalability, best practices, …)
• Collaborate with other team members (ML Engineers, Software Engineers, Devops) to make the best architecture and implementation for our tools to answer the needs of Build and Run teams
• Be an active member of scrum team

You like challenge and adventure and are looking for an experience in a dynamic tech-driven company working in an innovative demanding industrial context. You like to serve internal users, decode their needs and bring them support. You are a team player, enjoy learning as much as doing, and know how to communicate your ideas.

We are looking for Grande Ecole, Master or equivalent in applied mathematics, computer science, machine learning or other quantitative discipline related to the position.
The following skills are mandatory:

• Several years of professional use of Python
• Experience with best practices of Software Engineering (TDD, CI/CD, version control, code reviews…)
• Experience with deploying or operating an AI or a data-driven application in production
• Exposure to Docker

A plus:

• Keen interest in AI and machine learning
• Ability to work in Agile environment
• Experience with setting CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to Django
• Experience with a cloud provider (Azure, GCP)
