The position

Job description

Fabriq’s product/tech team is growing and we want to integrate our first QA to help us gain in quality. To this end, we are opening a position of Senior QA Engineer, whose missions are the following:

  • Meet with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters
  • Drive the creation of test plans and test cases, efficiently execute test cases across all functional and UI areas of our products
  • Implement testing procedures, test automation processes and oversee the QA process
  • Conduct analysis checks on product specifications
  • Ensure the successful deployment of products into the market
  • Support and mentor colleagues with less experience
  • Participate in post mortems meetings on bugs, and identify from them patterns of quality issues
  • Collaborate with developers, engineers and product owners through the software development and testing lifecycle, review requirements, specifications, and technical designs

Preferred experience

To apply for this job, you must have:

  • A strong experience as a QA
  • A significant knowledge of automation and manual testing
  • Some knowledge of agile and lean
  • The ability to share your knowledge
  • The ability to make others better
  • The ability to work in English
    We also appreciate if you have any of the following:
  • Some familiarity with the software craftsmanship’s culture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellence in technical communications with peers who work remotely
  • An experience as a Software Engineer using JS

Recruitment process

Step 1 : Screening - 30 min. Goal: test the compatibility between the desire of the candidate and the need of Fabriq

Step 2 : Technical test - 90 min. Goal: test the candidate’s technical skills

Step 3 : Team interview - 60min. Goal : test the person’s ability to integrate into the team, to work in a team, to explain his/her knowledge

Step 4 : Meet the CEO - 45 minutes . Goal: Present the company’s vision, the candidate shares his/her final questions and salary expectations

The description of each step is sent to the candidate a few days before. For the first and third step, the questions asked during the interview are sent to the candidate before the interview.
