The position

Job description

Reporting to the HR Director based in Paris, the position offers a wide range of duties for a 45 employees office in Amsterdam.

Main duties

HR Operations

  • Execute all administrative HR tasks: creating documents, agreements and letters and maintaining personal files
  • Carry out the monthly payroll process to ensure a compliant, correct payroll process with the support of a payroll provider
  • Manage sick leave process and liaise with ARBO, employees and managers
  • Provide professional and pro-active support and advice to employees and managers
  • Manage onboarding processes for employees: induction plans, benefits (pension scheme, health coverage and insurances)
  • Analyze training needs, organize and coordinate trainings
  • Support HR processes: objectives set-up, performance review, salary review
  • Respond to inquiries from employees, managers and external agencies with relation to all HR matters
  • Manage and follow up consultant’s costs: invoices and expense reports

Projects and Development

  • Participate in all HR related projects/initiatives, in particular the Employee Experience: definition of the road-map and implementation
  • Improve organizational design and efficiency
  • Coach and advise on a wide range of core human resource functions including HR policies, company culture and best practices

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour working week based in Amsterdam

Preferred experience

## Preferred experience / Education / Job requirements

### Skills

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in HR
  • A first HR experience, preferably in an international organization
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Dutch labor law, knowledge of tax, social security regulations and requirement
  • Excellent track record of leading and managing HR operations
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Autonomous,well-organized and detail oriented
  • Great people skills and sensitivity to different cultural backgrounds.
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Office Suite

### Languages required

  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal and written
  • French is a plus

Other qualifications

  • A previous experience within an international environment is a big plus
  • An interest for the field of education
