We are looking for someone who is competent in programming (microcontroller programming, HMI programming, …etc.) and open to engineering and learning in all the fields within their reach.

Your missions will be the following:

Participate in the development of future microfluidic instruments in our range, to bring real technological added value to our customers and develop microfluidic components and platforms for all scientific applications in our field.

Ensure the programming, testing and validation of the instruments in the range. This includes embedded programming as well as user interface development via LabVIEW or other programming languages.

Manage or participate in all phases of product design: from the definition of the need to the marketing of the product. This involves project management as well as ensuring the programming part of the project.

Integrate market and customer needs into the development of new products (functionalities, regulatory aspects, etc.)

Implementing all the side roads and crazy ideas that make sense to keep Elvesys at the forefront of innovation in the microfluidics sector.

Your profile to become the Rockstar of the team

You have a PhD in computer science or physics/engineering (all fields are suitable: mechatronics, robotics, electronics, mechanics, microfluidics … ).

You already know how to program in a computer language. Preferably in C/C++, Python…

You know how to find simple solutions to complicated problems. You are able to adapt quickly to changes in direction.

You have a strong scientific background, but are also creative and pragmatic.

You are able to think “outside the box” to find simple solutions to complicated problems, you are not afraid to tackle complex issues and you are quick to make them your own.

THE BIG THINGS
You have already done embedded programming on an arduino or similar
You have already programmed software for instrumentation
You already know how to program in Labview

THE LITTLE PLUS
You have a first experience in the development of an embedded platform including sensors, controllers…etc.
You have already developed on a 32 bits microcontroller of a known family (STM32, Microchip, ESP32…).
Use of communication protocols such as: UART, TCP/IP, USB and I2C
