About the role

As a Senior Data Scientist and Strategy Consultant at Ekimetrics, you will be operationally leading challenging data science projects with international clients across multiple industries and building bespoke analytics solutions to answer our clients’ key questions.

The primary focus of your role will be to lead project teams and ensure that we are delivering highly valuable and effective data science solutions that meet the client’s needs. You’ll also be supporting the Managers, engaging and managing clients' expectations and sharing insights with them.

You will be working in small teams on 1 to 3 projects simultaneously, and involved throughout the whole project lifecycle, from first discovery meetings all the way through to final recommendations. That could mean gathering and analysing data, building statistical models, and translating quantitative insights into actionable strategic recommendations!

Requirements

We are looking for someone who can wear 2 hats – the data scientist and the strategic consultant so you’ll need to show both advanced analytics skills and a strong interest in marketing & business strategy.

·        A Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, Marketing or any related analytical field.

·        Experience with software such as R, Stata, or Python.

·        A love of data and experience using data tools (I.e., SQL, Excel, ETL and other similar tools).

·        Knowledge or experience in core analytical methods (e.g., Mixed Market Modelling, MMO predictive modelling, customer segmentation/clustering, network analysis, optimization, simulation, etc).

·        Business acumen - Develop high-impact strategies articulating a forward-thinking view of the market.
