The position

Job description

We are looking for highly motivated people to build the road ahead and invent solutions to challenges never met before.

Your future responsibilities :

  • Participate in the development in a proactive way by supporting the various teams (electronics, software, system, vehicle platform, etc.) for the implementation of Safety activities in accordance with functional safety standards and the internal processes (product development, risk management, etc.).
  • Contribute to the definition of safety requirements and their allocation (including their traceability)
  • Participation in the definition of the system architecture and formalization of the safety concepts.
  • Realization of functional safety analyses at system and component level (Risk analyses, FMEA, FTA, impact analyses…)
  • Coordination of the production of documentation in accordance with the selected standards, as well as safety reviews, validation of functional safety requirements and audits, and participate in the improvement of the development and risk management processes.
  • Manage safety aspects with the other teams (development, validation, deployment, etc.) as well as with external customers or third party assessors.

We are looking for

  • Fluent in English
  • Force of proposal, autonomous and rigorous
  • Ability to stand up for the Safety positions to the General management
  • Proven ability to analyse and synthesise
  • Teamwork and good interpersonal skills
  • Engineering degree or equivalent university education (BAC+5)
  • Strong experience in Risk/Safety management and good knowledge in safety analysis (Hazard analysis, FMEA, FTA, etc.)

Desirable

  • Experience in autonomous vehicles and/or other transportation systems (e.g. railway)
  • Experience in Quality Assurance
  • Experience in ISO 26262 and SOTIF (automotive industry, ADAS)
  • Experience in EN5012x (railway industry)
  • Experience in ISO 13849 (machinery industry)
  • At least 5 years of experience in functional safety and risk management for public transportation

Recruitment process

  • 1 hour meeting with the safety team
  • 1 hour meeting with the manager and the recruitment manager
