The Heavy Goods Transportation Products Team is in charge of developing the autonomous heavy goods movers, together with important international vehicle manufacturers. We also work in interface with many teams within EasyMile. We are currently working on 3 different vehicles (trucks and forklifts) which aim to increased safety and flexibility, while significantly reducing operating costs in logistics centers, factories and ports, mainly for outdoor operations.

To support the growth of our activity and finalize one of our truck projects, we are looking for a product manager.
The product managers have an exciting key role within EasyMile: they are responsible for the roadmap definition, taking into account customer needs, technological opportunities and the abilities of the technical team to develop solutions for them.

You will actively participate in the creation of the autonomous mobility of the future through three axes:

.1. Customers needs synthesis and roadmap

• Customer requirements analysis and specifications
• Drafting of technical proposals
• Product definition and roadmap
• Active role in the definition of the business model
• Requirements definition for the EasyMile team

.2. Product development

• Detailed planning
• Progress tracking
• Prioritisation of development tasks
• Customer relationship
• Partners relationship
• Budget management

.3. Horizontal activities

• Take an active role in continuously improving our internal processes
• Ensure the different prospective and current clients needs are properly communicated internally
• Ensure the features as defined in the project plan and product roadmaps are delivered according to their priorities and plans. Tip: you can and should influence the roadmap, like everybody else!

During the first weeks, the product director will accompany you in order to understand the internal processes and the way of working within EasyMile. Then you will work in strong collaboration with a technical product manager who is in charge of the product’s development follow up internally.

You will work mainly from our headquarters downtown Toulouse, and once a week from our test facilities in Cornebarrieu. Business travels will be required to visit our clients, mostly short trips to Eastern Europe.

There is no typical profile at EasyMile, we all come from different backgrounds and that is what makes us strong! Don’t hesitate to apply if you are motivated and interested by innovative transportation and technologies.

You may be a product manager willing to discover the autonomous vehicles world, or a project manager experienced in logistics vehicles willing to upskill to product management! You will need to show a good ability to understand and explain EasyMile technologies.

We are looking for:

• Very good English & French (German would be a plus)
• Analytical, attention to details and ability to summarise

• Ability to find the right balance between our technical roadmap and our client wish list
• Leadership and entrepreneurial spirit
• Driving licence (type B)

Desirable:

• Experience in robotics, driverless vehicles or related fields
• Experience with safety standards
• Experience in product industrialisation (homologation, CE marking…)
• Experience in industrial automation systems (AGV…)
