The position

Job description

As an Financial Controller you will be at the very heart of our international organisation. With a wide range of responsibilities, encompassing finance and administration and office management, you will be crucial in ensuring a perfect functioning of our organisation. The fast growth of Early Metrics implies an ever-increasing demand to improve our processes. You will be working together with the CFO and HR Manager to get our processes ready for our next chapter of global presence.
Your main tasks will be, among other things:

Finance Management:

  • Managing accounts receivable: creating bills and following up on overdue accounts
  • Processing accounts payable: processing bills and initiating payments
  • Participating in the budgeting process and controlling the companies expenditure
  • Providing administrative support
  • Managing office and travel expenses

Administration Management:

  • Managing the payroll and social taxes in France, UK and Germany
  • Managing new hires: contracts, on-boarding process, Visa process when applicable
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance

Office Management:

  • General office management: organising office layout, ordering office supplies, managing office subscriptions, processing paperwork
  • Managing the procurement and tracking of IT-equipment for employees
  • Dealing with ad-hoc administrative and legal requests;

Preferred experience

Who you are:

  • Experience: minimum 2 years of experience in an accountancy position and having had a first exposure to most of the responsibilities mentioned above
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Education: BTS in accountancy and organization management
  • Basic knowledge of accounting fundamentals
  • Very good mastery of Excel
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment would be a plus
