The position

Job description

  • DHL IT Services Service Desk is currently looking for an Optimization Consultant who will be accountable to lead the way forward on the transformation in Service Desk to deliver efficiencies in operations and costs.YOUR JOB:
  • Serve as a change leader, innovate and have an appreciation for thinking outside of the box, questioning the status quo, and striving to find efficiencies in all work
  • Work closely with respective Regional Head of Department to identify and deliver optimization opportunities
  • Gather optimization requirements, design optimization solutions and create related documentation (Business Requirement / Business Case, etc)
  • Prepare and present analysis, methods and recommendations to Stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Specialists, Service Desk Tools Team, Other Technical Experts to deliver optimization projects on time
  • Design, documents and execute test plans for new optimization projects
  • Prioritize, track, monitor and report all optimization projects to Stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Regional Service Desk Leads to deploy optimization solutions
  • Collaborate with Service Desk Training Team to ensure delivery of knowledge of optimization solutions
  • Continuously improve existing optimization solutions
  • Explore new and emerging technologies that can be adopted as part of Service Desk transformation

Preferred experience

  • At least 5-10 years of Service Desk experience
  • Experience in automation, RPA and service desk related technologies
  • Experience with project management is an advantage
  • ITIL knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong presentation skills
  • Results-oriented and driven by goal achievement with a strong focus on excellence and high quality project delivery
