The position

Job description

  • Work within Deezer’s editorial guidelines to create and execute the editorial strategy for Dance and Electronic music.

  • Develop innovative content concepts that forge a new path in delivering Dance and Electronic music.

  • Curate for a large number of playlists to provide a wide variety of high quality content aimed at the global audience.

  • Work hand in hand with the local editorial teams to enhance the local experience of the genres.

  • Program content across the Deezer product, ensuring it is perfectly localised to your audience.

  • Analyse data and track performance indicators of your own work.

  • Work collaboratively with the Artist Marketing team to drive success in local and global campaigns.

  • Work with global teams including Design, Brand, Acquisition, Recommendation, Product Features and Search to improve the overall content experience for your audience.

Preferred experience

  • 5+ years experience in the music industry - you’re a Dance and Electronic music expert with a deep understanding of the genre’s history, current state and future trends.

  • 2+ years experience in programming music for a streaming platform, TV, radio, or other media.

  • You're experienced in analysing content data, you're able to provide weekly and monthly reporting of activities and insights on audience engagement on your genres.

  • You have strong relationships within the music industry pertinent to the global Dance and Electronic catalogue.

  • Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects.

  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Must be proficient in English (written and verbal).
