Job description

Companies who rely on a workforce to perform operations in the physical world are often blind with respect to what is really happening on the field. The tools they use do not allow to collect complete and accurate feedbacks and it is difficult for those companies to understand the source of errors and inefficiencies in their field processes.
Deepomatic develops a Field Vision Platform and process over 4 To of data per month to allow our clients to automatically make sure that field reports are filled with the accurate informations, thanks to AI. The platform also centralizes all those reports, which can then be mined by our clients to understand how they can improve their quality of service.

The development will include working on the technical specifications, the backend part (API, Kubernetes job, database optimization, asynchronous tasks) and the monitoring (Datadog)

Stack technique : Python, Django, Angular, TypeScript, Postegres, Docker, Kubernetes, Celery, GCP

Within 1 month, you will:

  • Learn everything there is to know about the business and the technology behind it. You will learn how our product works and how it’s used by our customers
  • Integrate your squad, follow the onboarding process and start working on your first task
  • Push at least one bug fix/small feature in production

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Participate to the brainstorming session for the next cycle in the squad with the product team
  • Work on detailed specifications
  • Work on bigger features

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Be the go-to person regarding technical issues related to the squad
  • Perform product and solution training sessions with our customers

Within 1 year, you will:

  • Mentor new team members
  • Take the lead of the squad

Preferred experience

  • The candidate is a native, near-native speaker in French or have a strong desire to learn french
  • Interest in solving real-world problems
  • Love for optimization
  • 3+ years experience with Python or 5+ years with a similar stack in another language
  • Strong affinity with the product
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English
  • Great human qualities and a love for team work
