Dataiku is looking for a talented IT DevOps to join the Information & Technology Team. Working out of one of Dataiku’s main offices in Paris, we are looking for someone with energy, pragmatism, simplicity, and strong technology background.

IT Operations are critical to the success of Dataiku employees around the world. The IT Team is responsible for the systems, networks and services that Dataiku employees rely on. Dataiku current IT Stack is a fast-moving modern environment: GSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, Trello, MacBooks, Zoom videoconferencing and associated devices. Remote Linux servers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, OVH). And a few dozen more.

As we scale quickly, you’ll help us by contributing to the design and implementation of IT automation tools focusing on service delivery, scalability and security. Your goal is to support the exponential growth of Dataiku business processes and operations. 

Focus will cover:

- Security (Data Protection, Monitoring, Backups)

- SSO, Onboarding & Offboarding automation

- Usage monitoring, alerting, costs control

Your primary responsibilities will be to

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of IT automation with a focus on service delivery.
  • Design, engineer, deploy and maintain custom automation products.
  • Build IT tooling and automation for internal use that enables IT and other Teams to operate at high speed and wide-scale.
  • Assess automation tools and integrate tools as needed.
  • Find areas of weakness and drive change utilising existing tools or the creation of new processes.
  • Assist in selecting tools that improve IT service while simultaneously working to reduce the number of tools in use.
  • The role might be a good fit if you have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a system developer in a cloud-first modern IT environment
  • Advanced knowledge in a scripting language (Python, Go…)
  • Experience developing automation workflows and integrations for repetitive or manual tasks
  • Use of restful APIs, systems integrations, and their use in automation
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools and Git
  • Hands-on experience working in GCP or AWS environments
  • Knowledge of identity and access management is a plus
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging via API, WMI, SNMP, SSH, and tools (e.g. Grafana, Kibana, New Relic, Instana,  etc.) is a plus
  • Good communication in both French and English
  • An excellent sense of service and a positive mindset
