About the role

Critizr is looking for an energetic and motivated marketing communications professional to join our marketing team, in Paris as a Senior Communications Manager. 

This represents an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about SaaS software, customer experience and is looking for a compelling challenge.

What will your main responsibilities be?

Critizr is looking for an experienced Senior Communications Manager to drive outstanding B2B global communication programs in the fast-paced world of customer engagement.
  • We're looking for a B2B communications professional who understands how communication delivers for the business impact through both promoting and protecting the brand and bringing our staff along the journey. We are looking for a forward-thinking professional who thrives on ideating with their peers and senior leaders. As a key member of our marketing team, you will collaborate across the organisation to build brand awareness,  develop stories that promote the value of Critizr’s solutions, and bring customers into our pipeline.

  • What you'll do:
  • Develop and execute an overall global corporate communications strategy that elevates and differentiate Critizr in line with business priorities.
  • Manage senior leaders and executives on communications initiatives to ensure we deliver on business needs with key external audiences and, in the medium term, with employees.
  • Ideate topics and themes that engage media and influencers including buying decision-makers, industry analysts and editors globally.
  • Ensure our messaging is consistent, up to date, meaningful and impactful across all channels, geographies whilst preserving nuances to different audiences.
  • Build our ability to react to the external environment to both capitalise on opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Manage public relations freelancers (short-term) to ensure high quality of thinking, work, and execution of global programs for the maximum return on our investment. Medium-term, you will establish the right structure (freelancers or agency, or in-house) to deliver the best results.
  • Develop protocols and processes to drive greater efficiencies in how we operate with regards to comms, content and organic social.
  • Measure success and business attribution.
  • What skills are we looking for?

  • Experience:
  • 7+ years of professional experience in marketing, product or sales roles
  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience in rolling out SaaS products and features to multiple markets.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent required: ideally a qualification in marketing, product marketing or product management.
  • Skills:
  • Collaboration: As a product marketing manager you will have to work with teams across the organisation. This will often include Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Client Success.
  • Excellent communication: You will frequently have to present new products and write engaging copy that tells the ‘story’ of products whilst being technically correct.
  • Research: Crucial to gaining insight into customers and market dynamics. Analysis of data, analyst research, surveys and customer interviews will be part of this mix and you need to be well acquainted with these techniques.
  • Understanding of marketing strategy and how product marketing impacts campaigns.
  • A technical understanding of SaaS technologies and the ability to develop marketing assets that are technically correct.
  • Fluent in French and [fluent or very comfortable] in English (fluent in both is a huge bonus).
  • What type of personality and soft skills are we looking for?

  • Extensive communications experience in a corporate or agency environment with 2+ years working directly with senior leaders. In B2B or in the software industry.
  • 8+ years of professional experience with at least 5 years dedicated to comms.
  • Experience building and executing international communications plans that engage a buyer audience and drive growth (reach, engagement, site traffic, leads).
  • Effective communication with media, analysts, B2B influencers and employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at the executive level.
  • Experience dealing with high-level business initiatives that have a large impact on the brand.
  • Excellent writing skills including messaging, speeches and presentations, content and social media.
  • Results-driven with a good understanding on how to measure the impact of communications at a business level.
  • Self-starter who works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines. Flexible and resilient with an ability to think on the fly.
