ABOUT THE ROLE

In a nutshell. What could philanthropy at its very best look like for a growth-stage startup in UX analytics? You tell us. There are no playbooks, no courses, no clear-cut standards even of what “good” looks like. So we’ll be looking to the creativity, strategy and ambition of our first Director of Philanthropy to chart a path forward.   

How you will make an impact: 

Strategy. You will create a culture of philanthropy at Contentsquare designed to bring philanthropy into the impact ethos that is a critical element of the culture of Contentsquare. Leveraging our global team you will build a culture of giving in the company and bring the biggest issues of our time to the company so that our collective resources can be a force for good.

Program Management. You will help to ensure that our philanthropic goals are met and that the associated programs are created so we can honor our deep commitment to strategic philanthropy.

Employee Giving. You will design giving programs to activate our people in a way that will support a culture of giving.Corporate Giving. Understanding the goals of our impact team you will align and oversee the philanthropic strategy to support the philanthropic goals.

Partnerships: Cultivate a network of NGO partners to align with overall philanthropic strategy 

Who you will be reporting to: Our Chief Impact Officer, who is committed to building Contentsquare’s first-ever, world-class,  Impact team.

Speaks. CSR, Trust-based Philanthropy, Effective Philanthropy, Employee Engagement, SDGs

Loves. Designing programs that will have a deep impact in the world. A collaborative and strategic approach to philanthropy that results in a positive impact in society. 

Hates.  Awkward and unnecessary power dynamics in philanthropy. Feel good philanthropy or philanthropy for philanthropy’s sake.

Work style. An activator. Committed to identifying opportunities and creating space for individuals to lean into giving and creating the impact that is possible in the world.  LOCATION

Background. We are diploma-agnostic for this position. Your track record will speak for itself. We are looking for at least 6+ years of corporate social impact or philanthropic experience project and preferably two years in a startup or growth focused organization.
