WHAT WOULD YOU BE IN CHARGE OF? 🚀

Dealing on a daily basis with Colonies’ core business and operations, the FP&A Manager will be the right-hand of the CFO, assisting him in:

Financial Controlling

• Lead the Budgeting Process and modelling twice a year
• Update the yearly Reforecast / Landing on a monthly basis
• Drive the Business Review (financial performance of last month)
• Ensure the reliability of Weekly Metrics (operational performance of last week)
• Build any additional analysis as per required by the development of Colonies

Accounting & Auditing

• Orchestrate the quarterly and annual closings, delivered accurately on time
• Supervise the intervention of external auditors (incl. internal controls cycles)

Treasury & Cash Control

• Forecast the cash burn and manage the cash position end of period
• Monitor the use and traceability of cash within the various teams
• Be the primary contact of our banking partners

Tools Environment

• Optimize in regard to Finance requirements the use of existing tools and systems
• When the time comes, help with the implementation of an ERP
• On a daily basis, transform operational data into financial insights

Other

• Assess any kind of partnerships or M&A opportunities
• If so, contribute actively to the deal execution

The FP&A Manager will be called upon to take additional responsibilities and deepen his scope as the Company is facing a fast-paced growth and must be structured to make it sustainable.

WHO ARE YOU? 👑

Qualifications

• Academic background from a top Business or Engineering institution
• Master’s degree in Corporate Finance, Financial Controlling or Accounting
• 3-year experience in corporate banking, auditing firm or finance department
• Full professional efficiency in English

• Problem solver, able to decipher different types of data and metrics
• Strong sense of commitment to advise the CFO on key financial decisions
• Excel guru, at ease with translating business operations into financial models
• Result-driven, eager to exceed expectations and propose new frameworks
• Business enthusiast, articulate, and autonomous
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, multi-tasker
• Educational with “non Finance” teams to help them deliver the expected results

We are vertically integrated. Everything is made in-house by a community of 60 doers! We source properties, design co-living spaces, supervise the rehabilitation/construction work, rent the rooms and take care of the daily operations to ensure the most enjoyable experience to our tenants.

We are growing at a fast pace to support the opening of a new house every two weeks. As a matter of fact, the number of rooms will be multiplied by 10 in the 18 coming months.

Does it work? Yes, today all our rooms are rented even before the rehabilitation/construction work is over.
