In order to support our growth, we are looking for an exceptional Accounting Manager for our Brussels Office. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the financials of our companies in France and USA.

What would you do?

• Accounting:

  • Day-to-day bookkeeping: Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Set-up and thorough follow-up of analytical accounting
  • VAT and withholding tax filing
  • Annual balance filing in collaboration with our external accountant

• Budgeting and reporting:

  • Understand the budget to support the city manager in allocating the costs and revenues
  • Prepare the accounting for the monthly closing

• Cash Management:

  • Execution of day-to-day payments
  • Planning of payments and receivables to reduce working capital
  • Follow-up logistics team to optimise stock value

An internal accounting profile with 4-5 years experience in a fiduciary. Knowledge of the real estate industry is a plus. The person should have following skills:

• Be independent and able to assess very well what he/she can decide or undertake him/herself and what he/she needs to escalate to the top management.
• Analytical approach and problem-solving attitude. You can easily understand complex matters and come up with innovative and strong solutions.
• ‘People person’ with great customer service skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, you are a self-starter and eager to deliver the best results. You come up with great initiatives and you are a driver for continuous improvement. You’re also of a curious nature.
• You’re a perfectly organised and meticulous individual.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• You’re fluent in French & English. Dutch is a plus.
• Knowledge of French and US GAAP is a plus.
