Meet your team

This is a cross-functional, agile team that is fully equipped to deliver our integrations product value to our key vendor customers. You will not only learn how food is distributed along the supply chain but will also contribute to making the underlying technological processes more efficient and sustainable. You will work with software engineers, product managers and our vendor sales team internally and regularly interact with our key clients. You will work from our Berlin office which is a very energetic engineering, business, sales & operations focused office.

What you will do

You will be the technical owner of all our integration with suppliers within Germany. As such, you are building the foundation for a strong long term relationship between Choco and the supplier landscape.

• You drive technical conversations with our key customers on the supplier side in order to understand how their systems work

• You drive finding solutions to connect to the different ERP / IT systems of our customers in German market in order to deliver our product value

• You work closely with the integrations software engineering team, you communicate user needs and market developments while having the best overview of what is happening in supplier integrations in Germany

• You will support the discovery, implementation and roll-out phases of key integration projects

What we are looking for

• Fluent German language skill as you will be communicating with suppliers locally.

• You love solving technical challenges no matter where they come from and what form they take. You wont need coding skills, but you should have in-depth technical understanding of a wide variety of technologies. You should be able to translate customer requirements to technical documentation and solutions design

• You are a teacher and 100% customer centric: You will be figuring out how to connect two worlds and systems that don’t always want to fit together. You help overcome any obstacle and are pivotal to closing deals - the more languages you speak, the better.

• Experience in a technical consulting role or technical project management in a customer facing set up

• Strong technical understanding, especially when it comes to APIs, integrations, communication between systems

• Understanding of different ERP / SaaS systems (Quickbooks, SAP, Navision, etc) would be a bonus

2. Technical interview: our Solutions Engineer & Backend Engineer have a technical conversation. No coding, no whiteboard here. We want to map your previous experience. But also see how you would analyse requirements and work with clients.

3. Product/Business interview: now is the time to show us your communication, customer facing skills and your business sense, but also how you would collaborate with others.

4. Cultural interview: we will have a chat with you about our culture and checks what can be your non-technical contribution to Choco.
