    After a 1st pivot in 2012 when Cedreo launched its SaaS activity, Cedreo stopped its on-demand services to focus on SaaS in 2017.
    Cedreo is now the leader on the French market with more than 3500 professional users.
    2020 has been mainly dedicated to a major rework of the solution, allowing us to rebuild the technical foundation and release a new major version. Thanks to this rework, Cedreo will now focus on speeding up the release of great features to answer our customers’ pains and go further to become the easiest and most effective solution to design a house.
    Our goal is now to become an international SaaS leader for the home building and home improvement industry. We have begun with the US, Commonwealth and German markets in which we now have more than 350 customers. The CEDREO website has been launched in 3 new languages (Espagnol, Italian, and Portuguese), in order to address both South Europe and South America.
    The Cedreo headquarter is based in Nantes, with people also based in Atlanta, Münich or south of France.
    In this context, we are looking for our new avenger, a Senior Product Owner, to join the Product department and help us build kick ass features for our beloved users.

    Job description

    As a Senior Product Owner, your mission, if you choose to accept it, would be to:

    Deliver and manage a quarterly updated CEDREO backlog:
    Develop a fundamental understanding of our customer business process, main pain points and business needs through:

    • The review on a weekly basis of the customers feedbacks collected by the customer success department in order to analyze them, track them, and link them to an epic feature request.
    • The development and maintenance of an appropriately prioritized backlog of those epic features.
    • The interview of both internal and external customers to analyze the most prioritized ones.

    Design, specify and coordinate the implementation of new CEDREO epic features and work packages:

    • Solve product related problems, complete trade-off analysis and present them to the product department to take informed decision.
    • Take part in the design and decision process to define the user experience.
    • Work closely with the UI/UX designer to develop the required mockups related to those specifications.
    • Develop appropriately detailed specifications of epic features or work packages so they are clearly understood by the development department.
    • Follow-up the implementation of those features with the development team in order to answer possible questions, and take decisions on possible trade off or required scope modifications.
    • Run functional tests to ensure the developed features meet the requirements.

    Develop and maintain competitive intelligence information:

    • Develop a deep understanding of the competitors environment and positioning.
    • Develop a deep understanding of the competitors solutions and features, and maintain the competition feature analysis and scoring framework.
    • Survey on a regular basis specific competitors features, in order to help design / orientate CEDREO solution to specific problems.

    Support the Head of Product and Company management in the definition of the Product Strategy and Roadmap:

    • Assess value and study/develop cases to make informed decisions and ensure to focus on items with the maximum value, in alignment with the product strategy.
    • Work closely with the product management and company management to create a product strategy and roadmap that fits the company strategy.

    Preferred experience

    We have a strong technical culture at Cedreo, so we prefer a person coming from an engineering cursus but we can stay open to people with other profiles.
    Experience in the SaaS market or at least in the software industry
    More than 2 years of experience as a product owner.
    This position includes the possibility to work from home 2 to 3 days per week.

    Hard skills:

    • Fluent english level.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Market / business analysis.
    • Ability to create detailed specifications.
    • Good understanding of the agile project methodologies.
    • Good technical issues understanding.
    • SaaS issues understanding would be a plus.

    Soft skills:

    • Ability to work with non technical teams to deliver technical specifications based on business needs.
    • Ability to work with technical teams and understand their constraints.
