ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Head of Prediction platform, you will be instrumental in building and shaping our growing Prediction Platform. You will lead a small but talented team, including GenAI Engineers, dedicated to developing innovative solutions and establishing processes that define prediction algorithms, transforming state-of-the-art research into actionable insights.

• Strategic Leadership and Building: Lead the construction and strategic development of our Prediction Platform from inception, with a focus on leveraging AWS services.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with Quant Developers, GenAI Engineers, and key stakeholders to establish and integrate prediction model pipelines and GenAI research processes.
• Innovate and Build: Drive innovation, focusing on building and optimizing platform components to ensure high performance and scalability in line with technological advancements.
• Project Design and Execution: Design, manage, and execute detailed project plans to achieve timely platform development and integration.
• AWS Integration: Maximize the strategic partnership with AWS to build robust, scalable, and secure platform solutions, utilizing AWS S3, Batch, and related services.
• Process and Roadmap Development: Develop and pilot strategic roadmaps for platform growth, aligning with CFM’s business objectives.

Profile description:

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven Leadership in Building Platforms: Extensive experience in constructing and leading engineering teams to build platforms from the ground up.
• Technical Excellence: Strong technical background in platform development, particularly in HPC and leveraging AWS services for cloud integration.
• Proficient in Python: Command of numerical libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn with experience in modern software development methodologies.
• Builder’s Mindset: A vision and passion for constructing innovative, scalable solutions, and processes leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
• Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and build strong team collaboration.
• Strategic Problem Solving: Aptitude for developing strategies to solve complex problems with an innovative approach.
• Understanding of Financial Markets: Familiarity with financial markets and quantitative research is a plus, though not mandatory.
