The position

Job description

To reinforce our technical teams, we are looking for a “Service Owner”, in charge of a backend logical perimeter or Unit (feature team format).

Based in our Lille offices (right next to Lille Flandre) and in partnership with a dedicated Product Manager, QA team and Frontend, the main objective is to develop simple solutions to answer the complex issue of hiring extras in the hospitality and catering industry.
You will be in charge of guaranteeing the technical feasibility of the features and stability of the backend services of the Unit. A real curiosity for the business logic and stakes is an absolute necessity.

You will be working on a full Javascript stack with Node.js, NestJs. On the database side PostgreSQL and Sequelize as ORM. Skills in SQL are thus always appreciated! On the infrastructure side, you will find Terraform for the ressources description, several services of AWS (SNS, SQS, RDS and more) and Docker for containerization. If you ever came across GraphQL in addition to REST, it’s even better.


Preferred experience

A first significant experience of backend development is what we are looking for. Being able to delegate and supervise the work of more junior developers is a plus.

Thanks to your previous experience, you have developed skills on the following topics:

  • Very good knowledge of Javascript, Node and relational databases.
  • Comfortable with Cloud environment (Amazon, GCP or Azure).
  • Understanding of Microservices Architecture.
  • Interest in the impact that your code has on end users.
  • Good at teaching, curious and able to take a step back are essential qualities.
