Botify is looking for Engineers fluent in French and English (spoken and written) at Paris (possible remote).

The position :
We are looking for a Senior Javascript Software Developer to join our engineering team based in Paris.

You’re a seasoned professional in frontend Javascript, SPA, and API consumption.

You’re usually autonomous with a good knowledge of common engineering pitfalls in algorithm design, implementation, unit tests and data visualisation. We have a mature CI/CD environment, work in short cycles (2 week sprints) with daily staging and production deployments. You’ll be part of an autonomous squad in permanent contact with product managers. We believe in a smart, thought-out, and engineered approach where everyone is included and everyone has a say.

You’re comfortable with React, Mobx-State-Tree, Styled-Components on the frontend side and you have exposure to Python/Django as backend (or any other backend stack for MVC).

• Unified datasource Explorer
• Trend builder : generate a no-code trended chart builder relying on any datasource in our unified data model

We have a strong culture of sharing : As a member of the technical team, you will be help our Support team and be in charge of bug triaging/mitigation a few weeks per year. You will also collaborate with other squads, from Infra to R&D and Data Science, give talks, animate workshops, and coach more junior team members.

Your skillset :

• You will speak in French and write in English.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript and TypeScript.
• At ease with React, functional programming and immutability.
• Experience in Data Visualization (Charts, tables, etc.)
• Familiar with JavaScript build toolchains (Babel, Webpack).
• Knowledge of Git, and Github
• Literacy in another language (Python, Go, etc.) will prove useful.
• Bonus point if you have some experience with browser plugin development (Chrome, etc.).
• Experience coaching Junior Developer, through Peer programming, Code Reviews, etc.
• Bonus point if you’re a contributor on Open Source projects
