The team
The data science team focuses on improving our products by applying advanced statistics and machine learning to deliver cutting-edge innovations to our customers and optimize their organic traffic. The team owns the project’s lifecycle from brainstorm and research to release and evaluation.

Some of the projects we recently worked on:

• Leveraging thousands of features in our data model to simulate hundreds of SEO actions and estimate their impact on our customers’ organic search traffic.
• Capturing issues using forecasting and anomaly detection algorithms to alert our customers and protect their organic search traffic.
• Understanding unstructured text using natural language processing and machine learning to gain valuable insights, analyze users’ intentions, and optimize the internal linking of our customers’ websites.

You will

• Work closely with our data analysts, scientists, and product managers to understand our product usage and user behaviors.
• Perform exploratory analysis to evaluate possible approaches to solve business problems.
• Build data reports and visualizations to help our product and business teams make strategic decisions.
• You will learn
• Using Python and SQL to handle large datasets.
• Understanding of the different phases of a data science project.
• Understanding of search engine processes and their impact on websites traffic and revenue (SEO).
• Collaborating with scientists, analysts, and engineers within an R&D department.

Requirements :

• An ongoing Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative field (Big Data, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, …)
• Experience (from work or school) in data manipulation (SQL or Pandas).
• Team player, pragmatic, take an iterative approach, and with excellent communication skills.
• Full proficiency in English and French.
