The position

Job description

We are actively looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager to reinforce the Performance team and take accountability of different projects and studies in the fields of Connectivity, Visibility and Automation.

 

 

The Supply Chain Performance department is accountable, at corporate and local levels, for the robustness and efficiency of Supply processes. The department drives Supply Chain transformation  through a roadmap of projects worldwide, with the constant objective of improving customer satisfaction and processes efficiency. The team is also accountable to document and share best practices, deliver and maintain the relevant KPIs to measure and improve the overall Supply Chain performance of the company.

As our environment is evolving fast, new challenges and opportunities rise and encourage us to develop our interoperability and efficiency. Digitalization & Analytics allow us to capture and share more data to improve our decision making and automate some processes to alleviate our organization from low adding-value tasks.

As a Supply Chain Project Manager, you will design and lead studies and projects to contribute to this transformation, you perform diagnostics to qualify the context and challenges, you design and propose solutions or investigations together with a deployment plan. You lead this plan execution with the stakeholders involved from Supply Chain department, you handle the change management and pilot the transformation in terms of quality, planning, risks and budgets reporting efficiently the project progress and challenges to the steering committee.

 

What will be your responsibilities at bioMérieux?

 

Here below some illustration of projects or studies you may lead or contribute to at short or mid term:

  • Deploy Robotics Process Automation capabilities: support the Supply Chain organization in optimizing its process efficiency by deploying RPA strategy in the department. Setup and animate the process to capture and qualify automation opportunities, in collaboration with the IS department lead the automation phase and ensure its sustainable support in the teams. Educate and promote about the possibilities offered by RPA, investigate additional digital leads to optimize Supply Chain processes efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Transportation and Planning domains to improve the capabilities to capture and analyze tracking data for overseas shipments. Assess current situation and investigate different technical options to increase visibility on export transportation status and feed the planning decision making accordingly. Implement quickwins and propose a transformation plan to address the situation
  • Contribute to Data Analytics deployment by leading or participating to some punctual analysis or investigation on data available. Support other projects by feeding them with specific analysis supported by facts & figures, explore technical trends (Machine Learning, Data Mining) likely to improve Supply Chain processes robustness and

In order to meet your objectives, you collaborate with other members of the Supply Chain Performance team: Process Owners, Process Experts, Data Analysts, Project Leads as well as stakeholders from Supply Chain worldwide or other partner departments.

 

 


Preferred experience

Who are you?

 

  • Master Degree, you have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain environment, with a specific experience in project management, ideally in an international context
  • You are familiar with Transportation & Planning processes.
  • You have interest for Data Analytics, Connectivity or Digitalization subjects
  • You are autonomous, curious, capable to energize a workgroup to reach consensus and meet common objectives.
  • Good communication skills and a structured approach allow you to manage projects and change successfully.
  • You have a strong capacity to work in team and your English is fluent.
