About the job:

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Technical Product Manager to join our Platform team. Platform’s core mission is to foster scalability within Back Market’s product teams. Massive growth potential is in front of us, but we must be best-in-class in our foundations, tooling, and core experiences. 

You will create and own internal products critical for other teams to reach their business objectives. This will range from an AB testing platform to a centralized translation one. On top of that, Back Market is moving to a modular architecture, and Platform (and therefore you!) will be key in accelerating this transformation.

Working closely with executive leaders and partners in Engineering and Product, you will be responsible for developing a comprehensive experience that meets users' needs while promoting Back Market’s unique positioning and brand.

The scope of this role is very broad, with high visibility and complete autonomy on the scope. It requires a blend of technical & functional expertise, data fluency, user understanding, and business acumen.

  • Bringing an ambitious product mindset as one of the first PMs of what is currently a technical team. You are the missing link between business and tech.
  • Defining and developing the product strategy and delivery of a new set of products covering all of Back Market.
  • Working hand in hand with your engineering counterpart to ensure we have reliable yet ambitious roadmaps, with the expected delivery quality level.
  • Defining the best product strategy to serve the business priorities and creating short and long-term alignment with business counterparts.

  • You have strong PM experience working on a technical platform with a high business impact.
  • You are driven by impact, have a proven track record of measuring it, and are fluent with data.
  • You are a team player and know how to use soft power to embark people with you.

  • You have empathy and curiosity for your users and know how to use emotional intelligence to shape a product vision.
