YOUR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT V.I.E MISSION

Active for several decades in APAC, with offices in Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia ARTELIA is now seeking to strengthen its activities in Indian region. We are offering you the opportunity to participate in this dynamic expansion through a business development V.I.E mission based in Chennai for a period of 12 to 18 months.

Reporting to ARTELIA's Water-Energy-Environment Business Unit and Artelia Consulting Engineers Limited (ACE), India. The mission will focus on development of consulting and engineering services for construction projects in the followings markets :

  • Manufacturing buildings & Industrial installations.
  • Renewable energy production and transportation (solar power, hydropower, hydrogen, etc.), water, environment, waste management
  • Healthcare sector
  • Infrastructures, Mobility
  • ACE Sectors covering: Agro & rural development, Area development, Infrastructure, Industrial and logistics buildings.

 

With the support of the Commercial Department, which you will represent locally, and in regular collaboration with our global engineering teams and local office, you will be involved in the following tasks:

  • Mapping stakeholders within ARTELIA's fields of expertise.
  • Conducting market studies.
  • Commercial monitoring: early detection of projects and tenders.
  • Supporting a better understanding of challenges and improving ARTELIA’s service offerings by providing local contextualization.
  • Mapping and qualifying potential partners.
  • Actively contributing to the creation and implementation of a commercial action plan: identifying targets in line with strategic directions, meeting prospects, participating in trade shows and local/regional professional events, strengthening the partner network, organizing joint actions with temporary on-site staff, and more.
  • Assist the technical and business development
  • Stakeholder consultation and assist ACE team in projects in French speaking countries.
Additional Information

To participate in the Volontariat International en Entreprise (VIE) program, you must meet the following five conditions:

  1. Be between 18 and 28 years old at the time of registration. Departure on assignment must occur no later than the day of your 29th birthday. No exceptions are granted beyond this age limit.
  2. Be a French citizen or a national of a country in the European Economic Area (EEA).
  3. Be in compliance with national service obligations (Defense and Citizenship Day).
  4. Enjoy full civic rights (voting rights and a clean criminal record).
  5. Meet the physical fitness requirements for individuals performing similar activities within the host organization.

Preferred experience

YOUR PROFILE

  • French nationality
  • With a degree in business (Master’s level) or engineering, your motivation is supported by prior personal experience in an international context.
  • With at least a BAC+3 degree and less than one year's experience
  • French applicants with more than one year's experience are not eligible for the V.I.E. program in India, as they are expressly excluded by the agreement with the Indian authorities.
  • Energetic and highly proactive, your strong interpersonal and commercial skills, combined with your analytical capabilities and rigor, will be key to succeeding in this exciting mission.
  • Fluency in English is essential for interactions with India clients and representatives of international clients. Proficiency in Hindi is a plus.
