Here in the Data Marketing team at Artefact we’re in a period of rapid growth and as a result are scaling our Data teams and services quickly. We are on the hunt for a Data Analyst to join us to help us achieve our goal of becoming a global leading data services provider by 2025. 

Working in our Data Marketing business function you will work with some of the brightest minds in the industry to deliver improved business effectiveness and efficiency through the use of data & technology.

What you will be doing

Among your responsibilities as Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

Leading Data & Analytics projects

  • Work with clients to define their measurement strategies and drive data maturity and activation
  • Implementation of measurement strategies using web analytics tools such as GA360 or Adobe Analytics & tag management tools such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium or Adobe launch
  • Responsible for preparation and analysis of performance dashboards
  • Work with different APIs, raw data, reporting and visualisation platforms to build custom solutions
  • Hands on analysis of our client’s data to surface actionable & strategic insight regarding their website and marketing performance
  • Nurture client relationships and become a trusted extension of their business through ongoing communication
  • Work closely with Product and Project Managers, Business Owners, and marketing teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood.
  • Understanding client goals, creating and executing strategies to exceed these goals.

Qualifications: Education & experience required

Academic level of education (Bachelor or Master)

  • Fundamentals of tracking and tagging for marketing and measurement
  • Experience of implementing Adobe or Google Analytics and contributing to the discovery and design phases
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch or Tealium
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence a variety of stakeholders
  • Logical thinker with strong attention to detail
  • Passionate about working in an extremely fast-paced, demanding, and fluid start-up environment as well as a desire to build a company up from an early stage 
  • Excellent analytic, quantitative and problem solving skills with proven ability to deliver actionable insights.

The following experience would be advantageous:

  • Experience with website testing technologies such as Optimizely, Google Optimize or Adobe Target
  • Knowledge of the wider Google Marketing Platform or Adobe Experience Cloud solutions
  • Top level knowledge of other MarTech / AdTech platforms
  • A passion for great User Experience (UX)
  • Ability to query large databases (SQL & BigQuery) is highly valued
