Logistics is a pain for both retailers and brands. Independent retailers struggle with inventory management and reliable delivery while brands prefer to focus on marketing and product. Our mission is to delight our customers by creating an amazing product and delivery experience. We want to set new standards for businesses and brands.

We help brands ship their orders seamlessly and everywhere by partnering with the most relevant logistics partners. We help retailers by respecting the promised delivery date, decreasing click-to-order lead times, securing inventory and making sure the product come in perfect condition.

The logistics department was created in June 21 . This is a unique opportunity to have a meaningful impact on our customers and to get a 360 view on the e-commerce BtoB supply chain (transportation, fulfillment, cross-border shipping).

As Senior Carrier Manager, you will be responsible for the transportation capacity, quality, and costs. Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for Ankorstore carriers portfolio management to secure overall competitive capacity at the best performance
  • Manages 3-4 Carrier Contracts: rate negotiation and terms (preferred CS,..) and ensure smooth rollout of contracts (invoicing validation)
  • Manages Carrier Performance: Bridge performance to target, focus on recurring issues (pickups, invoice, consignee address)
  • Maintain and improve communication between carrier and Ankorstore CS, Brands and Retailers
  • Build the carrier management team
  • Deploy specific transportation projects in coordination with Ankorstore Transportation Program, Fulfillment, Product, Finance, CS and Market teams

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Brings a department and company-wide perspective to decision making.
  • Strong business acumen : understands how to calculate high-level ROI and partner with finance to complete a cost-benefit analysis
  • Anticipates, identifies and drives resolution of technical challenges and interdependencies to prevent downstream problems.
  • Has a deep understanding of the business’ and end user’s needs, and can proficiently translate those needs into the right solution.
  • Proven analytical thinking with a natural tendency to use data in decision-making and prioritization
  • Experience in prioritizing multiple concurrent projects while still delivering timely and accurate results
  • 6-10+ Years of Supply Chain/ Transportation/Project Management related experience

Other skills that would add value:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Management, Transportation or other technical field
  • Knowledge of SQL and coding basics (or you’ll learn it with us ;) )
