Akur8 is looking for a Junior Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team to support our growth by taking full ownership of major marketing events and projects.

Akur8’s ambition is to become the global leader in insurance pricing. Our marketing efforts are directed towards becoming the top of mind reference in non-life insurance pricing.

To serve this objective, we are focused on growing our brand globally and increasing Akur8’s presence and visibility within the insurance pricing community through industry events, insurance and actuarial associations, partnerships, industry publications, marketing campaigns and other marketing activities.

As a highly organized, proactive and driven individual, your role will be to oversee and manage the execution of these large-scale initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage and coordinate events to support the Sales team

  • Review and select most relevant events
  • Execute on Akur8’s event marketing strategy
  • Plan and monitor event progress to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Manage event logistics
    • Sponsorship package requirements
    • Setup and booth creation
    • Coordination of participants and speakers
    • Coordination of merchandise and contests (print assets, give-aways, etc.)
  • Manage event-related reporting and KPIs
  • Research, recommend and expand Akur8’s participation in externally organized industry events
  • Introduce, promote and manage Akur8 specific events and webinars on insurance-related topics

Manage and run Akur8’s digital marketing campaigns and initiatives

  • Oversee and project manage multi-channel marketing initiatives and campaigns (LinkedIn, Instagram, Google Ads)
  • Manage and update internal marketing calendar
  • Identify and execute on new areas of digital marketing growth
  • Prepare content and help grow Akur8’s social media and media/PR presence
  • Identify trends and insights to optimize initiatives and related spend
  • Monitor performance of digital marketing initiatives
  • Track competitors

Product Marketing

  • Create content for different target markets bringing product expertise to the table
  • Being a source of ideas for our media coverage such as articles, videos, posts, white papers
  • Work cross functionally on promotion of new product features
  • Monitor and evaluate competitive landscape

You will be based in our Paris office, but traveling occasionally for events.

Requirements

We're looking for an experienced professional looking for challenges in a fast moving organization:

  • You have recently graduated from a business school with an interest or first experience in B2B marketing
  • You have strong experience managing internal and external events
  • You are looking for an operational marketing role in a fast growing tech startup
  • You are very organized and are able to efficiently multi-task and project-manage
  • You are autonomous, proactive, eager to learn and to assume responsibility for key initiatives
  • You are a team player and are happy to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders, both external and internal
  • You have ideally worked in international settings
  • You have excellent or native written and oral communication skills in English,
  • In the international context of the company, any additional languages: Spanish, Italian, German are a definite bonus

Important: You must possess an employment status (French or Schengen area nationality or a ‘carte de séjour’) that will allow work from our Paris office.
