The position

Job description

As part of our Operations & Finance team, you would deepdive into La Vie’s industrial processes in order to prioritize and lead our cost saving projects (Quite important if we want to keep on saving pigs!🐽).

Following missions are waiting for you:

  • You will be the owner of COGS and total delivered cost for La Vie

  • You are responsible for delivery of in year financial performance (costs/waste follow up/capex..)

  • You will analyse monthly the actual costs to identify trends and highlight variances versus the budget and report the actual COGS

  • You will identify opportunities for cost savings and initiate projects

  • You highlight risks for overspending and propose mitigating actions

  • You prepare and support the annual price negotiation with co-manufacturers

  • You prepare the annual COGS budget and the 3 year plan

  • You provide input to customer pricing

  • You partner up with innovation and operation team for projects and support decision making

  • You will be handle general financial controlling in perspective of cost cutting

Preferred experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in Factory or Supply Chain controlling in a manufacturing company! FMCG or Food industry would be a huge plus!
  • You are happy to do regular visits to our co-manufacturer & co-packers in France
  • You have experience in COGS/TDC controlling and analysis
  • You have successfully initiated and led cost savings projects and initiatives
  • You have a strong business acumen
  • You have an helicopter view without losing eye for detail
  • You thrive in a fast moving startup environement
  • You have a strong interest in the world of alternative proteines**
  • You are Fluent in French with a very good level of English
