Job Description

🔎 Context:

Delivering exceptional experiences starts with an exceptional offering. Identifying the right properties, setting the right price, ensuring reliable availability, onboarding owners, and showcasing each home to our clients: behind our offering are decisions and processes that are critical to Le Collectionist’s growth.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to transform this complexity into a simple, intelligent, and unique product that serves both owners and our teams.

The Supply Squad

Reporting to the CTPO, you will join the Supply Squad. You will work directly with two developers and will be able to involve a Product Designer as needed. In time, you will also work with a Product Analyst.

You will collaborate daily with the BizOps department to combine operational expertise, data, and execution capabilities. The Supply Squad is responsible for the tools and automations, their adoption, and their impact on its KPIs; BizOps provides business expertise and owns the evolution and adoption of the associated processes.

When a BizOps request competes with the Supply Squad’s priorities, the PM makes the trade-off based on the expected impact on the KPIs. The Product Manager and developers participate as equals in exploring problems and designing solutions. The PM is responsible for prioritisation and outcomes; solution decisions are made collectively.

The Supply Squad’s mission is to maximise the quality, availability, competitiveness, and ease of management of our collection. It covers the entire lifecycle of a property: from its identification and publication to its ongoing management, including pricing, availability, and information. It is responsible for sustainably improving its business KPIs.

Examples include:

• Availability: collection availability rate and the freshness of availability and pricing data
• Competitiveness: price competitiveness
• Quality: completeness and reliability of property listings
• Management efficiency: time required to publish a new property, owner response time, and human time per property managed

This product-heavy organisation provides a high level of autonomy, direct access to users, and very short decision-making loops. Limited and easily reversible projects are decided directly by the Supply Squad, within the priorities agreed with the CTPO. Structural projects are presented to the Executive Committee each quarter and require its approval. You will present priorities, trade-offs, learnings, and the impact achieved.

Why this role matters now

With AI, experimenting and building have become much faster. At Le Collectionist, we therefore believe that our advantage now lies in our ability to select the few problems that truly deserve our investment, to say no to the rest, and to demonstrate the impact achieved.

You will not be joining us to manage an existing roadmap. You will have the opportunity to define what our product should become and build a competitive advantage unique to Le Collectionist.

✨ Responsibilities:

→ What you will be able to transform:

You may work on challenges such as:

• Building fairer and more responsive pricing for each property and period by combining seasonality, demand, availability, the property’s positioning, owner constraints, and market competitiveness
• Synchronising availability from different sources, detecting inconsistencies, and ensuring that both teams and clients have access to fresh and reliable information
• Helping owners and Supply teams quickly identify which periods to open, which prices to adjust, and which actions could improve a property’s performance
• Reducing the time required for a new property to become available to our clients
• Simplifying the experience that allows owners to manage their information, pricing, and availability
• Using AI to collect, enrich, and verify property information while reducing manual checks

These examples do not constitute a predefined roadmap. Your first responsibility will be to identify, together with the Ops Squad and the BizOps department, the problems that truly deserve our investment.

• Identify the few problems with the greatest potential
• Build an ambitious vision for the tools and processes related to our offering
• Translate company objectives into measurable product outcomes
• Prioritise the roadmap and protect the Supply Squad from secondary requests
• Define the metrics required to demonstrate the impact of each investment
• Share best practices from your previous experience and help the team evolve its approaches to discovery, prioritisation, experimentation, and impact measurement

Understanding the reality on the ground

• Observe Supply teams in their working environment
• Engage directly with owners and understand their needs
• Understand users’ decisions, constraints, and workarounds
• Work with BizOps to map and challenge existing processes
• Distinguish a stated request from the underlying problem to be solved
• Determine whether the best response lies in the product, the process, the organisation, or automation

Designing and validating solutions

• Explore several possible responses before committing development resources
• Use AI and prototyping to bring ideas to life quickly
• Design solutions collectively with developers and BizOps
• Test directly with the relevant Supply teams and owners
• Measure results after release
• Adapt, scale, or stop an initiative based on the evidence obtained

→ How you will work:
You use data directly
You explore data without waiting for a dashboard or an analyst to answer each of your
questions. You define baselines, targets, and measurement methods from the beginning of
an initiative.

You build to learn
You know how to produce a prototype or bring an idea to life without immediately requiring a
full development cycle. You look for the fastest and most reliable way to test a hypothesis.

You delegate to AI
You use AI to analyse, synthesise, prototype, prepare tracking plans, and automate
low-value product tasks. You devote your time to judgement, users, decisions, and
outcomes.

→Your first six months:
After one month

• You have met the main users and observed the work of the Supply teams
• You have spoken with several owners
• You have developed your initial assessment of the Supply opportunities
• You have created and tested a first prototype
• You have defined the metrics required to measure its effect

After three months

• The Supply Squad is working on a limited number of clearly prioritised problems
• Several hypotheses have been tested with teams or owners
• Developers have the context required to make product decisions
• Your first measurable initiative is in production

After six months

• You have demonstrated the impact of at least one initiative on an important business
metric and defined a measurable strategy for what comes next
• BizOps and the Supply Squad share a clear view of the next priorities
• The tools are beginning to tangibly improve the pricing, availability, quality, or activation of our offering
