About Prolong
Prolong is entering an exciting phase: we’re transitioning from startup to scale-up, with strong commercial traction and a clear path to Product-Market Fit.
Prolong is a white-label Operating System that empowers brands and distributors to turn after-sales services(repairs, alterations, recycling, refurbishing, resale and spare parts management…) into powerful drivers of growth, customer loyalty, and sustainable impact. By reshaping how brands manage product repairability, lifecycle, and circularity, Prolong unlocks new models for operational efficiency, global scale, and lasting impact.
We just closed our Seed round, were selected for the LVMH Maison des Startups accelerator, and were finalist at the Luxury Innovation Awards 2026. We are already trusted by leading brands including Messika, The North Face, Fusalp, Veja, or Royal Quartz, validating both the strength of our mission and the scale of the opportunity.
We are guided by strong values:
CARE: We care for each other, our work, and every single user.
AMBITIOUS: We challenge the status quo and build globally by default.
TRUST: We own our results and lead through reliability and excellence.
FAST LEARNERS: We move fast, learn faster, and never stop improving.
Your Mission
As our first Account Executive, you will be the cornerstone of Prolong’s commercial engine.
Working hand in hand with Tanguy, our Co-Founder & CEO, you will engage qualified prospects, guide them through complex buying journeys, and help shape our commercial playbook from the ground up.
Your role will blend execution and ownership:
80%: Drive qualified opportunities to close discovery, demo, negotiation, and contract.
20%: Fuel your own pipeline through proactive outreach, events, and close collaboration with our business development team. In the early months especially, self-sourcing will be a key part of the role.
You will be at the heart of a fast-moving, purpose-driven SaaS company — where every deal helps redefine how the world approaches product longevity.
What You’ll Do
Manage the full sales cycle from first call to signature, with a consultative and value-based approach.
Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals involving DSI, COO, CFO and Innovation teams.
Deeply understand brand and retailer challenges to craft the right solution narrative.
Partner with the CEO to refine Prolong’s sales story, pitch, and closing strategy.
Collaborate with the Pre-Sales team to scope projects, size opportunities, and manage technical or process gap analyses.
Collaborate with the BizDev, Marketing, and Product teams to align on ICPs, messaging, and feedback loops.
Ensure smooth handovers to Project Delivery & Customer Success for long-term satisfaction and revenue expansion.
Build trusted relationships with C-levels and innovation leaders across global brands.
Represent Prolong at client meetings and industry events (occasional travel).
We're looking for
Who You Are
Experienced: 6+ years of B2B SaaS sales, with a track record of closing complex, consultative deals at €50K–150K ACV. Experience selling to enterprise or upper mid-market clients with long cycles is essential.
Industry-savvy: Experience selling to retail, luxury, or fashion brands is a strong plus, or a genuine passion and cultural proximity to this world. You’ll ramp significantly faster if you understand how these organisations think and buy.
Consultative: You excel at uncovering client pain points and crafting value-driven narratives across multiple stakeholders.
Startup-minded: Agile, resourceful, and motivated by building from scratch in a fast-moving environment.
Autonomous: Proactive, comfortable owning your pipeline and results without waiting to be managed.
Driven and relationship-first: You love meeting people, opening doors, and turning a first conversation into a lasting partnership. You’re the kind of person who follows up, stays in touch, and builds trust over time, not just over a single deal.
A great communicator: Confident storyteller, strong written and verbal skills. French native or fluent required; English professional working level required for international accounts.
Curious: Excited to learn new industries, from fashion to tech, and genuinely interested in sustainability, circularity, and product longevity.
Why Join Us
This is a rare opportunity. Prolong has real traction, a product that clients love, and a market that is accelerating, driven by both brand ambition and new EU regulations (Right to Repair, EPR). We just closed our Seed round, joined the LVMH Maison des Startups accelerator, and were finalist at the Luxury Innovation Awards 2026.
As our first AE, you will:
Work directly with the founders on strategic accounts and commercial strategy.
Have real ownership. Your decisions will shape how Prolong sells for years to come.
Grow into a leadership role as the team scales.
Be part of a collaborative, ambitious, and genuinely human environment.
In 18 months, you’ll know you’ve succeeded if…
You have closed at least 10 new brand logos, including at least 3 from major brands.
Your average deal size has grown, you have moved from mid-market closings to confidently handling enterprise accounts with multi-stakeholder complexity.
You have built and maintain a healthy pipeline of active opportunities, with a clear view on timing and next steps for each.
At least 30% of your new pipe is self-sourced, through your own outreach, events, and network.
You have helped shape Prolong’s commercial playbook: messaging, objection handling, pricing strategy; so that the next AE we hire can ramp in half the time.
Every client you have signed has been handed over smoothly to the Delivery Team and Customer Success, and none of them has churned.
You are seen internally as a trusted commercial voice, always ready to go on stage, the person the product and marketing teams come to when they want to understand what prospects really need.
You have grown with the role and are ready for the next chapter, whether that means leading a team, owning a vertical, or expanding internationally.
