AI Content Engineer Greenly

🌱 About us

Greenly was founded in 2019 by Alexis, Matthieu and Arnaud with one mission: make carbon management as essential as financial management. In 2026, Greenly joined forces with the Nordic-founded company Normative.

Today, we are a global leader in carbon accounting, proudly B-Corp certified and part of the French Tech 120. Our climate suite combines smart data collection with intuitive automation, helping companies measure, reduce, and report their emissions with ease — supported at every step by our in-house climate experts. 💚

More than 4,000 companies in 30+ countries use Greenly to manage their climate strategy: from carbon assessments and life-cycle analyses to SBTi trajectories and compliance with CSRD and CBAM.

We are now a team of 200+ people from 40+ nationalities, based in Paris, Stockholm, London, Barcelona, and New York. 🌎

To date, we’ve tracked over 200 million tons of CO₂ through our platform. Our next milestone: 10,000 clients and one billion tons of CO2 under management.

🌱 Our Values

• Ambition for climate: Minimize GHG emissions, maximize climate impact

• Deliver with agility: Work in small increments: fail fast, learn fast, win fast

• Own your opportunities: Achieve outstanding results by showing initiative and accountability

• Feedback paves the way: Succeed as a team by helping others progress

• Be one Team: Everyone is included and needed - work together with transparency and respect

🌱 About the role

Our buyers no longer discover their suppliers only on Google. They ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini. This role exists so that Greenly is the answer those AIs give, and the brand people remember.

🚀 The mission

You build and run the engine that makes Greenly visible wherever our customers look for answers: in AI engines, on Google and on YouTube. You define the GEO strategy, scale content production with AI workflows, and turn that content into videos that make people want to follow Greenly.

This is not a copywriter or video editor role. It's a builder role: you design the processes, connect the tools, measure, and hold a high creative bar on everything that goes out.

Your first deliverable is your 90-day roadmap. You tell us what we should be doing, including what we haven't thought of yet. GEO and AI video change every three months: we expect you to propose, test and make the call.

You report to the VP Marketing and work with the Content & Brand, SEO, Product Marketing, Ads and Web teams.

🤝Your responsibilities

1. Define the GEO strategy and lead the audits 📈

• Audit Greenly's visibility in AI answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, AI Overviews) and on Google, in FR, UK and US.

• Identify the prompts and queries that matter to our buyers, offer by offer and industry by industry, and track our share of citations against competitors.

• Analyse which sources AIs cite and why, then turn that into priorities: pages to create, pages to refresh, third-party sites to be present on.

• Identify technical blockers to our AI visibility and prioritise them with our web developer, who implements them.

• Set the GEO KPIs and produce a monthly report that leadership can read at a glance.

2. Get cited where AIs look 🤖

• Build our presence on the sources AIs cite most: comparisons and listicles, review sites (G2, Capterra), Reddit, Wikipedia, specialist media, analyst reports.

• Turn Greenly's proprietary data into original studies and figures, the best citation magnets.

• Monitor what AIs say about Greenly (false or outdated information, positioning against competitors, sentiment) and correct course.

• Measure the traffic coming from AIs and its impact on pipeline in HubSpot.

3. Rethink SEO and scale production with AI workflows ⚙️

The challenge in the AI era: rework our SEO strategy to sharply increase weekly output and drive impressions, without sacrificing click-through rate. We want real growth, not artificial gains driven by pages nobody opens. You draw on the best article production and optimisation models in the world to build ours.

• Design and maintain workflows in AirOps, connected to Peec AI, Ahrefs and our CMS, to industrialise article research, briefing, writing and optimisation.

• Put quality guardrails in place: verified sources, E-E-A-T, brand voice, expert review on regulatory topics.

• Refresh the existing article library at scale, with the internal linking and structured data that help AIs cite us.

• Document every workflow so the team can use it without you.

4. Turn articles into YouTube videos for Leaf 🌱

• Build the process that converts our best articles into videos for Leaf's two YouTube channels: script, voice, visuals, editing, publishing.

• Cut every long-form video into short formats (Shorts, Reels, LinkedIn).

• Optimise titles, thumbnails, chapters and descriptions, and track retention, subscribers and traffic generated.

• Use YouTube as a citation source: AIs increasingly rely on videos.

5. Launch the brand video strategy 📹

• Set up the process for creating ads built to spread: a hook in the first three seconds, variant testing, fast iterations with the Ads team.

• Create videos that give Greenly a face and a voice (experts, customers, behind the scenes, points of view) using the latest AI creation tools: Higgsfield for multi-model cinematic video, FLORA for team ideation and storyboarding, Veo, Kling, Seedance or Sora models for generation, HeyGen and ElevenLabs for avatars and voices. You keep a close watch on the market, as these tools change every three months.

• Test AI video generation tools and decide what is brought in-house, automated or outsourced to freelancers.

🤖 Your stack

You'll start with a stack already in place and the freedom to evolve it.

• AI visibility: Peec AI, Ahrefs Brand Radar

• SEO and content analysis: Ahrefs, Google Search Console

• Content workflows: AirOps, Claude and other LLMs

• Publishing: Prismic, Notion

• Video: Arcads, vidIQ, AI video editing and generation tool

• Business measurement: HubSpot

🔥 What we expect from you

At 3 months. Your roadmap is approved. The full GEO audit is delivered, with priority prompts tracked in Peec AI and a citation-share baseline. A first AirOps workflow produces articles routinely, and the article → video process is running on both Leaf channels.

At 6 months. Article and video production has scaled up with no drop in quality. The first ads are being tested with the Ads team, and monthly GEO reporting is in place.

At 12 months. Greenly is cited 40% to 50% of the time by the main LLMs on its key topics, with KPIs tracked in Peec AI (visibility, average position, sentiment and share of voice against competitors, by prompt and by offer). The Leaf channels have a growing audience, and video has become a measurable lever for brand awareness and pipeline.

Other numerical targets (article volume, subscribers) will be set together based on the audit.

🌱 Skills to succeed

You have 3 to 5 years of experience in growth, content or SEO, ideally in B2B SaaS, a start-up or digital media. Above all, you have already built something that runs without you.

Must-haves

• 💫 A true entrepreneurial reflex: you spot the problem, test a solution within days, measure and iterate.

• 💡 A drive to propose: you come with ideas, you defend them, and you don't wait to be told what to do.

• ⚙️ Mastery of workflows and automation (AirOps, n8n, Make, Zapier or equivalent), and real fluency with LLMs.

• 📹 A creative eye: you know what makes people watch a video to the end and what makes a title worth clicking.

• 🧠 Solid SEO fundamentals, and an understanding of what changes with AI engines.

• 🇫🇷/🇬🇧 Professional French and English: our markets are France, the UK and the US.

Nice-to-haves

• You have already grown a YouTube channel or video account, for a brand or for yourself.

• You have already used Peec AI, Ahrefs or another AI visibility tracking tool.

• You have already run digital PR or third-party site presence initiatives.

• You can write a script, shoot or edit yourself when needed.

• Climate, energy or regulatory topics interest you, or you'd like them to.

Show us at least one project from your background that you came up with and led from start to finish. That's the first thing we'll look at.
