Why this role is key
The reliability of our electronic boards depends on validating design choices. By building prototypes and conducting laboratory tests, you will help the Hardware team evaluate different technical solutions before they are integrated. In particular, you will help reduce the risks associated with the terminal’s power supply architecture to improve its reliability and stability.
Reporting to Nathalie, Hardware Engineer, this internship will allow you to connect electronic design with the results obtained on actual boards. From analysing requirements to carrying out tests, you will learn to evaluate a solution, document your observations and translate them into recommendations for future designs.
Your responsabilities
Electronic analysis and design
Analyse and document electrical and functional requirements,
Identify technical solutions and assess their risks and their impact on the existing design,
Design prototypes to test these solutions: electronic schematics, printed circuit boards (PCBs) and embedded software.
Test development and execution
Develop the test environment for electronic boards,
Define test protocols to evaluate the selected solutions,
Carry out tests using laboratory equipment, including an oscilloscope,
Analyse the results to verify the operation and stability of the solutions tested.
Documentation and test execution
Write detailed documentation of test protocols and the results obtained,
Make recommendations to guide design choices and improve board reliability.
