Our take
EvolutionIQ is a data-driven claim guidance platform for insurance providers. Its products combine structured and unstructured claim data with external third-party data to provide powerful claim guidance, aiming to modernise the claims operations process. The company's offering is certainly an attractive one for businesses handling large volumes of these claims - the solutions aim to help insurance providers detect and prevent fraud without impacting their productivity and customer experience. Historically, the insurance industry has had access to vast amounts of data without optimising its use. EvolutionIQ's machine learning algorithms harness the learnings from every data point, enabling much more well-informed, actionable insights. In 2024, CCC Intelligent Solutions acquired EvolutionIQ, which will continue to operate as a standalone company. Following a successful VC funding round, it reached a valuation of over $200 million and is now focused on further product development and international expansion. Off the back of this, it hopes to capture a larger slice of this $10 billion market.

- Lead the strategic vision and conceptual design outcomes which provide a clear direction for our customer experiences across the AI landscape
- Design human and AI agent interactions, including how the system communicates uncertainty, automation, control, intervention, and recovery
- Define the experience model: conceptual model, information architecture, core workflows, interaction patterns, and guiding principles, and build the reusable agentic patterns and design-system foundations that let it scale
- Conduct discovery directly with clients to inform experience decisions, and validate concepts through rapid prototyping and usability testing
- Establish a scalable experience architecture across a complex, evolving platform, along with reusable agentic patterns and foundational design-system components
- Partner with leadership, stakeholders, cross-functional team members to shape the product, navigating tradeoffs across user needs, AI/ML capabilities, technical feasibility, and regulatory requirements

- Raise the bar for the people around you, as an individual contributor, through your work and your feedback
- Proven ability to set experience strategy and bring structure to ambiguous, business-critical problems with little precedent
- Exceptional systems thinking: you see patterns, anticipate edge cases, design for scale, and establish reusable frameworks and standards
- 10+ years designing digital products, including leading 0-to-1 and emerging-technology products in B2B enterprise software and highly regulated or complex problem spaces
- Experience in end-to-end UX/product design to design impactful solutions to challenging problems
- Exceptional communication skills: you can articulate design decisions using product thinking, frameworks, research, and data to influence direction with cross-functional partners, executives, and clients
