Younited Credit is reinventing the consumer loan industry in Europe.

Founded in 2009, Younited Credit is the only European consumer lending platform to be fully authorized and regulated as a Credit Institution. Its innovative refinancing model allows professional qualified investors (both individuals and legal entities: companies, insurers, foundations, pension funds, etc.) to directly finance consumer loans.

The company has raised more than €160 million of equity since launch and has passported its license in 10 European countries. It employs 330+ people between its offices in Paris, Rome, Barcelona and Munich. Younited Credit has originated in total over 1.4 billion euros in consumer loans.

The Role:

As part of the development of its activity in Europe, Younited is looking for an additional person to join the Capital Markets team. The person will work with the Head of Capital Markets (who is a member of Younited ExCo) in developing and implementing the company’s refinancing solutions. The position is based in the Paris head office.

Responsibilities:

• Launch new investment vehicles for our debt investors (e.g.: dedicated SPVs, AIF, mutual funds) in collaboration with the related teams at Younited (Risk, Data, Tech, Compliance and Operations) and external advice as applicable (legal, tax, rating agencies)
• Manage investor due diligences, coordinating internally with relevant teams as required
• Set-up new and/or amend existing funds/SPVs for the various countries and partners as required to ensure their efficient functioning in compliance with an evolving regulatory landscape
• Work closely with Younited teams across Europe (Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Munich) to follow new developments and propose adapted refinancing solutions
• Keep abreast of evolutions in the consumer lending market, regulatory framework, as well as new SPV/mutual fund formats
• Assist with the launch of our next public or private securitizations
• When needed, travel to Europe to visit prospective investors or support their diligence

Your skills:

• 4-5 years of experience as a Risk Manager, Auditor and/or in Credit Structurer with a financial institution
• Rigorous and with a strong risk management culture
• Analytical, problem solver & solutions driven
• Experienced in fund development and autonomous from project initiation to delivery
• Solid interpersonal skills seeking to work in a fast-growing, fast-paced, challenging and entrepreneurial environment
• Fluent in English, French desirable. Fluency in German, Spanish or Italian is a plus
• Existing familiarity with credit risk analysis and consumer finance a plus
