YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As part of the technical team, and under the responsibility of our Head of Engineering, you will build a long term technological machine, using a qualitative and last generation stack, and participate in the research of solutions to very technical problems.

  • Microservices in Python (Fast API) with a DDD-inspired architecture
  • GraphQL Gateway in Node.js (Apollo)
  • Gitlab (VCS + CI/CD + Project Management)
  • Docker & Kubernetes (Helm)
  • Terraform (on AWS)
  • Datadog/Sentry
  • Vue.js
  • Documentation on Notion
  • Data stack: Segment, Airflow, DBT, Postgres datawarehouse
  • Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the making of our product with the aim of building a long-term technology stack with well defined APIs that are service-oriented, modular, granular, observable, and efficient.
  • Design, implement or improve features in a variety of backend systems including REST and GraphQL APIs, micro-services, crons, data ingestion and migration.
  • Implement and use state of the art tools to orchestrate deployments, monitor services and automate scaling and recovery.
  • Solve complex business problems with simple and elegant technical solutions using common patterns and technology.
  • Be an effective teammate by mentoring and guiding other engineers to help them improve their craft and maintain high quality standards.
  • Work closely with product managers to ensure that delivery and quality expectations are clearly understood and aligned.
  • Expected Results:

  • Onboard yourself on our Python micro-services and GraphQL Gateway
  • Be autonomous in realizing tasks, communicating with product and other stakeholders
  • Ability of the person to understand the product and the logic
  • Prioritize simple things and don't add complexity
  • Qualifications

  • Strong experience in developing and maintaining self-documented APIs
  • Solid expertise (4+ years) in Python + Node.js (bonus) for backend services
  • A good understanding of best practices for orchestrating micro-services
  • Proven ability to work in a team, help your coworkers and promote efficient collaboration through tools and practices
  • Experience with automating deployment and scaling backend services
  • Always 100% motivated, you like to solve complex problems. You do not give up easily
  • You are autonomous in the tasks entrusted to you, but do not hesitate to ask for help if necessary
  • You are open-minded and know how to communicate your point of view
