As Wooclap is expanding to new market segments, we’re looking for a Business Developer to join our Sales team and accelerate our development. This is where you come in!
Being responsible for the entire Sales cycle for a portfolio of prospects, the Business Developer will play a pivotal role in the success of Wooclap in France. You’ll be the trusted partner of our customers from the first touch point to the signature of a contact: you’ll identify business opportunities, help prospects test and implement Wooclap, train them on the platform, negotiate contracts… If this challenge sounds music to your ears, read below!
Responsibilities and duties
Own the Sales process from A to Z for your portfolio of prospects (≈ 60%)
- Be the face of Wooclap (either in events, conferences or in relevant networks) and make sure we gain high visibility on the market
- Pitch Wooclap and perform demos to new prospects (80% of inbound leads at the moment)
- Understand the needs of your prospects to identify business opportunities and help them achieve their goals with Wooclap
- Develop a strategic approach to identify and reach key interlocutors (Digital Learning Managers, Learning Technologists…) within your target accounts
- Conduct complex negotiations with your prospects on all aspects of their project (financial, legal, technical…)
- Create and maintain lasting relationships with your contacts
Project management (≈ 30%)
- Follow up on projects on a weekly basis to help organizations testing Wooclap make the most of our platform
- Perform regular reporting to key interlocutors to help them manage their innovation project
- Offer exceptional customer service to answer questions and solve any obstacle faced by your prospects
- Work in collaboration with other teams (Marketing, Product, Tech…) to meet the expectations of your prospects
Cross-functional collaboration, continuous improvement & business intelligence (≈ 10%)
- Work closely with other teams to contribute to cross-functional projects, ensure alignment and deliver customer insights to the entire Wooclap team
- Contribute to the definition of the customer experience we need to build (in terms of value proposition, product, pricing, offer…) to reach leadership positions on our market
- Participate in the optimization of existing processes to make the team ever more efficient
- Develop an expertise of our market to understand and anticipate customers’ needs
- Follow EdTech news to identify the latest innovations, trends and opportunities
