Senior Specialist, Brand Strategy and Campaigns

Role summary

Develop and deliver effective Vodafone Communications and Brand strategy, manage the communication and media plans in order to support commercial priorities and targets and increase brand value.

What will you do here?

  • Within the brand plan framework independently manage mid-sized tactical campaigns end-to-end to achieve defined marketing and commercial targets (esp. build brand awareness and drive sales through specific offers/promotions), develop the roadmap and annual plan for specific area including setting and evaluating targets.
  • Manage activities, projects and campaigns within assigned budget at all stages: initial market research and analysis, requirements specification, procurement, supplier selection, implementation, testing and evaluation and interpretation, including definition of corrective measures. Within diversified company procedures and standards and partly defined instructions analyse and interpret differing situations in order to develop methods, new procedures and approaches to solve problems.
  • Influence and educate colleagues and cross functional project teams in the assigned functional area (ATL/BTL communication, Online, media planning, promotions, advertisement or event management) in order to provide expertise and support overall commercial and operational goals.
  • Consolidate and interpret views from segments, products, pricing and/or insight teams, or external partners and suppliers in order to contribute to the long term MarkComm strategy and roadmap.
  • With excellent understanding of company processes work effectively in delivering tasks and develop or resolve process/service issues impacting the customer experience.
  • Lead Vodafone’s paid media data capabilities, establishing best approaches to audience segment targeting, data flows, campaign set up, optimisation, and evaluation. Ensure optimal media supplies are established locally through effective Vodafone Private Market Place (PMP) strategies and deals.
  • As Digital Media Specialist: Drive the effective roll out and implementation of the Vodafone-owned paid media tech (Ad Server, Verification, and DSP’s), aligned to process and people capabilities, and underpinned by the Vodafone Operating Principles. Drive AAA (Auction-based, Automated, and Audience-data driven characteristics) Media across Search, Social, and Programmatic channels/platforms, aligned to Data & Targeting, and Ad Serving & Verification competencies. Measure operational effectiveness through the implementation of the overarching Vodafone Digital Media Governance Framework. Provide integration support and expertise with DMP, tagging, and analytics.

Preferred experience

  • Experience 3+ years from similar position
  • English: advanced
  • Agency process experience
  • Advanced knowledge of ATL development process
  • General understanding of Czech media market
  • Experience with data analysis, researches & insights
  • Driving licence B
  • For Digital Media: Platform certifications desirable i.e. Google Search / DCM, Facebook, Twitter, Adobe Analytics, Ad Serving. Hands-on and operational experience of core paid media technology stack components and vendors, i.e. ad serving / ad verification (ad ops function), search, social media platforms, and programmatic / DSP’s
