Job description

Event, Retail Comms & BTL Manager

Role summary:

Develop and deliver effective Vodafone communications and brand strategy, manage the communication and media plans in order to support commercial priorities and targets and increase brand value.

What will you do here?

  • Manage, motivate and develop team of employees, ensure people have clear priorities and direction and act as a role model of the Vodafone Way behaviours. Influence and develop people and change behaviour. Inspire and create the right working climate.
  • Execute brand plan through briefing the communication campaigns, delivering the communication campaigns, events and projects in the assigned functional area (ATL/BTL) or segment, in order to integrate all direct and indirect channels and build long term brand image and deliver short-term results (esp. build brand awareness and drive sales through overall MarkComm plan).
  • Contribute to the development of MarkComm strategy for defined communication channel or customer segment, design MarkComm procedures and translate them into operational plans.
  • Drive digital marketing acceleration strategies across organization. Manage digital media planning, buying and optimization.
  • Within defined annual strategy and brand plan, and assigned budget, independently manage large and strategic campaigns (both internal or via external agencies or partners) in order to achieve the campaign KPIs and support commercial goals.
  • Drive segmented communications approach (both strategic segments as well as micro-segmentation). Measure and optimize customer journey based on data analytics to ensure best user experience.
  • Take the brand ambassador role within any project team necessary for cross-functional company projects and provides MarkComm leadership and direction. Ensure effective administration of entrusted budget & guarantee exact dealing with it (cost estimate & invoicing process under SAP management). Ensure campaign integrating practices across the team. Provide integrated brand and strategic overview of all relevant marketing communications with the focus on content marketing. Collaborate with department directors and managers in relevant fields (i.e. CBU, VBU, Foundation, Technology, Online, CVM etc.) on proposition campaign brief development and respective projects execution to drive effectiveness and helps fulfil theirs KPIs.
  • For Vodafone business unit: Define a holistic TTL Business communication roadmap, define business communication target groups and campaign briefs for the MarkComm department and evaluate results of these campaigns including definition of campaign KPIs and their delivery by BrandCom department. Define long-term brand KPIs to be achieved within Business segment and monitor and evaluate as they are delivered through the MarkCom department.
