Vestiaire Collective is looking for a Database Administrator to join our Platform team in Paris!

What you’ll be doing

• You will be responsible for DB administration of MariaDB servers, Incident Management and Change Management
• Maintain database proactive monitoring and alerting
• Perform database engine fine-tuning and updates
• Assist developers with problematic query optimizations
• Implement backups, control database growth

Who you are

• You were working as a Database Administrator or similar position for at least 3 years
• You have good knowledge of:
• MySQL database engines - MariaDB preferred, MySQL HA, MySQL partitioning, MySQL backup utilities
• Overall expertise with Linux
• Replication configuration and recovery
• Installation of MySQL
• Load balancing (HAProxy, ProxySQL)
• You are an autonomous and proactive specialist
• You have good written and verbal communication skills
• Kanban/Agile methodology practitioner
