Swan is looking for a Sales Development Representative to seek out and amaze hundreds of new prospects as we scale in the coming years.

You will be joining the Go-to-market team at a startup that has seen significant growth in the last few months. We are now looking to expand our team to crack the European market. In this role, you will be the key link between marketing and sales to drive top of the funnel sales in our target markets.

We are looking for someone with a strong business acumen, willing to make Swan grow over the long-term and excited by the challenges of selling.

This role is best suited to a curious mind, someone who is willing to learn and comfortable with the highly technical aspects of our product. Ideally you would have experience in a similar role, and be very organized with strong communication skills.

Lastly, we’re looking for someone willing to grow at Swan: the SDR role is a path to expand your career, whether you want to go into Sales, Marketing, or Strategy, this is a fantastic entry point into a scaling company!

✨ Your mission

  • Deliver holistic demand generation activity, both outbound and inbound lead generation.
  • Manage inbound leads - identify prospect needs and turn them into active opportunities for the Account Executive Team to take forward.
  • Work with sales and marketing colleagues to drive first-class demand generation through targeted outbound campaigns. This will include developing prospect lists and tailoring campaigns and cadences to each target market.
  • Research prospects, target personas, and segment landscape to assist with lead scoring and account-based marketing.
  • Attend industry events alongside the sales team to meet new prospects and spot new opportunities for Swan
  • Manage your prospect lists, data, build campaigns with lead generation tools (eg. Sales Navigator, Salesloft, Hubspot, etc), and measure/track your execution of campaigns.

✨ You’re a great match if:

  • Experience: You have similar experience of 1-3 years as a SDR (preferably selling a technical product in a start-up / scale-up / SaaS company) or you are looking to kickstart your career in sales and seeking an entry point.
  • You have delivered a demand generation strategy, working with both marketing and sales to achieve performance targets and KPIs.
  • Proven understanding of sales development techniques.
  • Tools: Preferably previous use and knowledge of sales development tools (eg. Sales Navigator, Hubspot, etc).
  • Proactive, eager to bring solutions and willing to roll up your sleeves.
  • Languages: You speak and write fluent English and one other European language.
